It's a cold night as you open the cabinet to grab your last pack of Ramen noodles, when you realize you're completely out.  Checking the fridge you notice there is nothing in there neither.  Desperate times call for desperate measures you think.  Someone was going to have to lose their hard-earned money so that you could eat tonight.

Throwing on your jacket you head out of the cheap apartment trying to avoid any rats on your way out.  You make your way to Downtown, L.A because you know those fat cats won't miss a couple hundreds from their wallet.

Once down there you find a target.  A younger, definitely handsome, looking gentleman with dark hair and a swag so sexy you find yourself getting a boner.  He's wearing a well-tailored BALMAIN suit.  As he goes to walk away from the man he's chatting with you make your move.

It's not all that fancy, really.  You just walk up next to the guy as he's trying to cross the street and as you see the walk sign change to signal it was safe to cross, you nudge yourself into him and reach in his back pocket to grab his wallet.

"Last time I checked, you didn't put any money into my pocket....so why are you touching my wallet?" the gentleman spoke with a clear tone as he grabs your arm. With a firm grip on your wrist and your hand still in his pocket, he kept walking with you.

"What happened to the common civility of the criminal?  Did you really think picking someone this far above you on the scale of life was acceptable?  Did no one teach you better?!"  He continued to talk as he dragged you down the next alley and puts a 9mm to your throat.

"I just needed something to eat." You respond quickly as the cold metal presses against your skin.

The young man stared at you for a few seconds. The seconds felt like forever, but eventually he opened his mouth to speak. "You know, usually I shoot first then ask questions later. Consider this your lucky day."

He went into his pocket pulling out a wad of cash. All crisp, brand new 100 dollar bills. And along with the wad of cash he gave you a business card. You quickly glanced at the card for a name.

"Go eat. In fact, do more than eat. Go enjoy yourself for the next few nights. In 3 days I want you to meet me in my office at the location on that card. And if you dont? You won't be eating anymore meals."

The gentleman lowered his weapon and as soon as you blinked he was gone in the wind. You thought to yourself ".......this can't get any worst......"

You stood there still dumbfounded on what just happened. You glanced down at the card and flipped it over and over. In your other hand, a wad of cash. You grinned to yourself. You stuff the cash and card in your ragged pockets.

You stopped in a high priced clothing store and walked out looking like a million fucking dollars. So this is what it felt like to wear high class suits with gold cuff links and still have cash to burn? One thing for sure, you wouldn't be losing that card anytime soon.

For the next 3 days you lived the high life. Club after club you hopped, tossing cash around like it was nothing. If this was what it was like living the high life.... well count yourself in!

After three days of drunken lounges and gluttonous restaurants, to say your head was unprepared for this meeting would be an understatement. You managed to drop by the office address plastered on that card you cherished so dearly an astonishing ten minutes before you were scheduled to.

You were greeted with a sophisticated, but charismatic smile upon entry. You nudged the door closed behind you just as your eyes drew to his companion; it's a young woman at his side dressed in an attire that makes her look like an everyday gal.

You swallow, wiping your confused expression from your face as your head throbs from last night's alcohol abuse. "There's a place up the road—a loan shark business, filled to the brim with cash—and my friend here plans on hitting it. Of course, she needs some help. You're game for this one" he demanded, his strict voice constant. "You will earn a cut if you do a good enough job, but don't think you're off the hook yet, kiddo. You still owe me."
