Shiki doing his job without questions asked, he mostly kept to himself, he was one of the best, kept to himself, he had more than one gun, and more than one type of gun. He also had knives too, and swords, and such to get his job done. Some called him an expert, some called him a monster, while others would call him the god of death. Once shiki was given a job, it was most likely dangerous, it was over and done with quietly, but you knew it was him because there would no trace of it. Almost like it would have been taken care of while everyone was sleeping during the night. Was so scary, deadly. 

Shiki's job would be given a list of names and instructions on how to handle their enpending doom of death, then once he got ahold of those names, the rest was history, no one could save them after that. 

So once the job was done, he could call a team to clean all evidence, as if there were no traces left that the name even existed. Shiki didn't really make friends, he mostly kept to himself. He would mostly keep a mask over his mouth to keep his identity from getting out, or from scaring the public, from his inhuman features most say. No one really knew for sure of that. 

Most of his figure was covered up, they say he looked a type of beaty, not of this world, his features were inhuman, but perfect. They say his eyes could turn into the galaxy. Or different colors, depending on his moods and jobs. They said he was tall, always ready for battle, they also say he kept the supernatural in check in secret. They say he was very memberable and mesmerising, but very quiet, but very well spoken, if need be. 

Shiki was one person that was hard to understand but easy to get along with, but always got his job done, as expected of him, but this one job was not what he expected, not what he was used to, since it was asked...he did it anyway. 

That morning, he had just finished a job, so he went home, to freshen up, thinking no one was home as usual. As he freshened up, his brother had sent someone to bring to see one of his brothers about a job that would take him surprise and change his life for the rest of his life. 

As he finished getting dressed, and headed down to his brothers office, for a sommons that his brother wanted. He entered the office, walking past thr flirty secretaries of females and males, ignoring them, he then entered the head office and shut the door behind him. 

"Hello brother, this is unexpected.. Normally you just send me the list of jobs and be on our way.. Why is it different this time?" Shiki asked. 

"Well, this isn't onr of the normal jobs that I normally give you." His brother said. 

"Okay.. What is it.. It better not be something like make me dress up like a girl under cover.. Cause I will beat your face in.. " shiki said with sneer as he rolled his eyes in disgust. 

"No that was a one time thing and an emergency.. I promised I would never make you do that again." His brother said shaking his head. 

"Then what is it.. Spit it out already, you making me feel like a female on edge, getting her panties in a Twist." Shiki said sarcastically. 

"That's not something I wanna picture on my brother thanks." His brother stated back. 

"Says the person that made me dress like a female." He stated back. 

"And surprisingly a sexy one at that." His brother popped off. 

Shiki threw stuff at him and his brother snorted but held up his hand, and started to explain, "Okay, so on serious note, remember that girl you saved a long time ago?  Well, she needs your protection, they are coming back for her, and I can't always be around.. Shiki we made her apart of this family, she is precious, so please do this for me.. Besides she seems to listen to you and get along with.. Which is why I'm choosing you for this job.. Because you have done something like before. You could handle it better than anyone else that I assign..." His brother said truthfully watching shikis reaction to this. 

"Hmm, well I haven't said no.. But I gave her to you guys because you seem better at protecting people and making it less like prison and more like entertainment... Besides I have never been close to anyone since my childhood friend.. Heh." Shiki said truthfully and sighed looking out the window. 

"I know, I know, that's why another reason why I'm assigning you, even though you sometimes come off as mean.. You still mean well and have compassion for those your care about.. Do this for me and I will... Hmm... I will let you have thst vacation you and my family wanted...what do you say?" His brother seemed to be truthful. 

Shikis eyes light up slightly, "why now?  What's so important about this case?" Shiki asked. 

"Well, they are coming.. And when I'm gone you are the most experienced on how to deal with them.. And I can't take her with me.. Otherwise I would handle it myself.. Before you ask.. I'm off handling other supernatural affairs... And if they find her.. My kids would be the most Vulnerable.. I can't expose my wife abd kids like that right now. We are already technically on the run.. I don't need then runnin fear from this too. Understand?" His brother stated. 

"Mhm.. Just let me know when I should get started... And I will have her around me at times.. Heh.." He stated feeling oddly uncomfortable with this job but it needed to be done. 

"Actually.. You start today, let me call the girl in.. You are all she looks for.. Also I forbid you from getting intimate when working.. It's part of the rules.. Try not to let her go deeper into her crush for you.. And don't make it obvious you know okay?  She has seen you a lot without you knowing.. Like most girls she is mezmermised, but unlike most girls she isn't thirsty.. She keeps to herself about it.. I just however noticed cause my wife noticed and I kinda saw it but not really until I saw her watching you a months back... She tries to hide it but you can tell it's totally cute." His brother said with a smirk. 

Shiki just Shook his head, he then looked over as his brother looked to thr man "bring her here please.. And bring her something to drink, she is very delicate after all...brother try not to overbare her with your inhuman features." He teased. 

Just shiki threw another pillow, she had entered the office, he had a light smirk on his face, as a tea was set before him, he turned to look out the window, crossing his legs over, lesning back against the couch relaxed his chest slightly showing. His hair was curly and down today, or half own. 

"Come in Angelic.. I want you to meet another one of my brothers, shiki, the one thst originally saved you a while back. He will be your bodyguard until matersvare settled.. You can be rest assured, he is thr best at his job.. Trust me, we kept you safe so far, he will help with that.. Although he is a bit intimidating he is very kind. Don't Sweat the small stuff, he will also take of your living arrangements while I'm away, from time ot time.. Just be at ease with him like you were with me snd my family...also shiki try not to help destroy my home while I'm gone... It's annoying." His brother teased slightly. 

"Enough with the nonsense.. Before I throw my knifes at you.. And hello Angelic.. Just call me whatever you like.. Shiki.. Shikon.. Death.. Monster.. Evil.. Whatver suits your tastes." He spoke kindly, as he winked. 

"Shiki.. Did someone call you that sgsin recently?" His brother asked. 

"Well.. I mean it was never a disappearance like you ordered.. And you can't kill everyone who calls me that.. Anyways just be at easr Angelic I'm not gonna eat you or anything." Shiki said. 

He then got up and walked to the window.. Walking out onto the balcony, today he wore blue and gold, his hair had blue and gold in it today, he leaned against the wall of the balcony, looking out onto thr view of the people and thr land. 

"Alright, brother I'll do it.. But on one condition.. I do this my way..and my way only.. Otherwise you will have more problems." Shiki said as he came back in. 

"Alright, deal.. But promise me you will always be in one peice and you will be safe?" His brother stated like it was an order. 

"Mhm.. And if I don't you have full permission burn the world like you want." Shiki teased. 

"Shit I was gonna do thst even without your permission idiot...anyway good luck on this job abd be careful.. Sit have some tea and you csn ask us questions angelic just relax.. This is still the same shiki thst saved your life" his brother said softly giving her a smile. 

Angelic listened by the door in her pale pink kimono, her long black hair tight against her head with pink and gold beaded headdress laid upon the top. She had felt nervous for months being in the manor with her newly made family that took her in. 

She hadn't seen Tenkai's brother since that first night, her cheeks  reddened softly in remembering him. Shaking her head slightly as she saw one of the lil ones chuckling to her lost look upon her face. That's when she heard Tenkai call her to his office, lifting her tiny hand up and pushed open the door to enter.

Her eyes to the floor as she walked in and slowly lifted them to him. Thinking to herself "Oh god it was the man that saved her many centuries before by the river." Her heart fluttered in her chest.

"You called Sensei" as she gave a shy smile to Shiki, listening to him speak. Telling her she could call him anything and before her mind could keep up with her mouth "hello cutie" then slapped her hand over her mouth in shock.

Stepping deeper into the room and folds her kimono under her knees and kneels in front of the tiny table. Blushing softly as she poured herself a tea that was brought in. Listening to the brothers tease each other and gently shaking her head. 

Shikis eyes instantly winded to thr comment in her mind, and went to normal, it was as if he heard the words spoken apon her lips. He thought back to what his brother said, he instantly gave a light smirk, it seems his brother was right about Angelic. He then let the smirk drop as he came back to reality. He couldn't quite turn her thoughts out, he could tell she was nervous. He wondered if it was because, he saved her, and thinking he would have to figure away to give her mind privacy. 

"Well.. This is awkward... I would have thought you would have some words for shiki, Angelic." His brother said. 

Shiki looked from the windo, to her, he gave her a soft probing look, he smirked, knowing what she was thinking. "Ahem.. Well I'll go first.. Since I haven't visited you since I brought her here.. Have you doing okay with these people?  I mean my neices and nephews didn't try any funny weird stuff with you did they?" He gently teased her, trying to eas the tension. 

She lifted her gaze and lifted the cup to her lips, gently drinking the tea.  She had only know of the other angels in the heavens and not of these strange ways of the humans of earth. Seeing his smirk, Angelic knew he had already heard the comment as her heart raced even more. "I've been doing fairly well Shiki. Thank you kindly and the lil ones have been helping me with things of this world . The guards have been very helpful too and don't leave my side. It gets annoying when they stare at me like hungry dogs in heat as Raven calls them"

She chuckled softly as she flicked open her fan to hide her face. Teasing him back with her comment  as she began to relax. Bringing the cup to her lips once more to drink.

Shiki raised w brow to this while his brother choked and spat his tea out a bit. Shiki looked over wondering what the hell they were even teaching this girl. He then Shook his head giving a snort, he then cleared his throat. 

"Mhm.. So is everyone teaching her crude sentences like that?  Anyway don't learn garbage like that.. Although you aren't wrong.. Because their males with hormones.. But still.. Have you been sleeping and eating well?" He asked being serious now. 

Without thinking, he leaned forward and touched her face, removing her hair from her face, feeling for a fever or anything out of the ordinary. Feeling like everything was normal to him, he let his hand drop, he realized she had soft skin, he would need to make sure he had female products for her. So she could doll herself up if she wanted. 

"I mean I haven't seen you in a long time.  And I apologize for that.. My line of work keeps me away, and that's good sometimes.. And a person like me.. In normal circumstances wouldn't be right for you.. It's why I put you here.. Because they all understand your situation in some earas than most would.. And they have a warm welcoming to you than anyone else.. Plus they aren't human either so they are better suited for you to live with than humans or any other being." He explained softly. 

Hearing the remark and watching Tenkai's reaction of tea spitting made her giggle, the children had told her things along with his wife Savannah. Who she grew to know well by learning the things of this world.

"Sensei, I've heard you curse too with your wife at night too and many strange grunts as if in pain" she tease him 

Angelic backed away slightly as she then seen Shiki's  hand come closer to touch her face. Tilting her head slightly into his strong hand as she felt her heart skip softly.

"it's fine, i understand your a busy man and can't be around me all the time." Looking away shyily "No, I haven't slept well or can't keep anything down for a few days"

"Well that will change once you move in, you don't have to be so formal, we are of higher beingd but, we aren't so strict as your home.. That I can promise you.. You make a mistake or whatever here.. You won't be casted out or anything like that.. Do you trust me?" He asked so seriously. 

He then took a sip of his tea, and then set it down, "we eont let harm come to you.. Pfft.. You remind me of when my brother first met his wife.. And sometime from time to time she be a scaredy cat as well.. But uhm as you realise I don't sleep much.. And my place is a bit quieter and more peaceful so it will be a bit different arragements.. I mean when can still stay here.. But my living quarters are much harder to hear haha." He teased. 

He then looked at Tenkai and then back at her, a bit worried for her health, he sent her a wave of calmness to her, to see if it helped. "Come here for a bit, I wanna take a look at your immune system.. Uh I know how to heal angels that hwvr never been to earth when my brother isn't around. Besides I heard before. Well multiple times.. So I need to see how you are now.. I won't harm you so don't worry." He said, raising a brow to the weird uncomfortable feeling of talking. 

Angelic nodded her head slightly "yes I trust you." She said quietly "some days I feel the cold to my bone as if I can't stay warm for long periods of time" she admitted to them.

"You mean Savannah was scared too but why Sensai can't be that bad and she does love him so much as I have seen the way she looks at him when he ain't looking then go into a world of their own."

She rolled back upon her feet as she stumbled slightly from kneeling and walked towards him. Standing before him biting her bottom lip and waited nervously. "My immune system but I'm fit and healthy " he would tell that she was lying and then he would protect her

"Being a fraid has nothing to do with my brother, there are other things to fear.. Anyways I'm gonna check something.. " he spoke softly. 

He then scooted forward, in his seat, as he did that, he began to feel her neck, and her tummy. He then turned her gently, but slowly around, and he touched her back, and began to massage it, evere so gently, he was putting heat back into her shoulder blades. He knew what he needed to do for her, and then he had sit down on the table infront of them. 

As he had her sit on the table, he lifted up her kimono, feeling her legs, they needed the chill to be taken out as well, as he put some heat into them, making her flood flow a bit. "You still have some side effects from when I saved you from being frozen, so I will fix that when we start living the new living arrangements.. But for now, this all I can do you without making you feel uncomfortable.. Since you are an Angel, you are used to high pressure heat and small cold winds. So your body is still not used to this inviroment because you hwvrnt been taken care of yourself properly, but living with me, that will change." He said softly. 

"Also your wings will be massaged as well, and I don't want you wearing these kimonos until I know your body is back to it's original health, I will have clothes for you." He said again softly. 

He then let her legs go, and he saw her hands, he grabbed them and blew some of his warm breathe on them, so they wouldn't hurt so much, "We will be putting you in some sun for an hour to an hour and a half, during the day, and night, we will be putting an oil that can heat up the mjdcles slowly, and get your blood flowing.. And your entire dietary will be completely different." He spoke softly to her. 

As he ew warmth onto her delicate hands, he looked up at her, giving her a soft smile, he then looked over at his brother, seeing his brother smirking, as if he would come up with all kinds of stuff to tease him with, he then looked back at angelic, slowly letting her hands go, knowing he would need to grt her a hwbd warmer. 

She closed her eyes as she felt his hand upon her back, shoulders. She could feel the warmth return to her skin and bones causing her heart beat faster as her face warmed. The thought of sharing his living quarter with him made her face heat up as she blushed and looked down at the ground.

"My kimonos keep my wings hidden. What do i-i wear now?" She stammered as she sighed softly, his hands upon her legs under the fabric of her outfit. She was not used to this and began to blink fast, as she noticed her sensei smirk at his brother.

Shiki was right she hadn't been taking care of herself even though she was given food to eat, which she found strange to the taste. The food of this world was tasty and very filling. "Raven and Savannah gave me a taste of this thing called chocolate it was like heaven on my tongue" she said as she felt his hands move off her legs and she pushed her kimono down over her knees. 

"Well clothes.. We have wings too, but they are automatically hidden, I will show you how that's done, you don't need kimonos to do that, also I am not taking away your style or anything.. But in order to blend in, you have to wesr different types of clothes." He said. 

He could tell she was a bit nervous under his touch, because of her crush on him, he kept it innocent and pretended not to notice for her sake. As he finished, he then touched her face, as she talked about chocolate, fascinated by her small talk. He never had such pleasures, reason being was he was always working, he never enjoyed the simpleness of life. 

"Mmm.. Well if you like I can have chocolate around for you everyday.. What do you think?" He looked over at his brother. 

"I think you can sort thst out once you get her all settled...oh and shiki?" He asked. 

"Hmm?" Shiki looked up, from his thoughts. 

"Do be careful and send me updates, so I know you are alive.. And next time we meet, I hope I can get some Intel from you." He said, as shiki nodded. 

He then got up, and had Angelic follow him to settle then in to live together for awhile until his job was finished.
