The men had served in the war together when they came home they found they had fallen into a depression, life was just not exciting anymore.  As brothers in arms they spoke intimately and found they both suffered from the same emotions. They agreed that they had to do  something or they might go stir crazy with these feelings boiling inside them.

So the two bought motorcycles to try and regain that sense of exhilaration they had felt on the battlefield. This fix however only partially filled their need they felt that was lacking.

"J.J, why don't we start a regiment of fellows who want to ride with us.  We can talk with some of the guys we served with tell  them how much that riding has helped us."
Jake Johnson  smiled at his ex Grenadier, Jake called Jr. because he shared his name. The two had hit it off immediately in boot camp when they found they had  the same first name. The two agreed that since J.J was older than Jake by two years that Jake would be called Jr.
"
Jr. you are so idealistic  with your ideas sometimes I wonder if your head is in the clouds, but not this time brother."

The two contacted men they had served with and proposed the idea of forming a club and riding together when they felt the need.  They managed to round up  most of the regiment they had served with.

On the 13th of October  an incident happened that would change the goals of this bike club for generations to come.  They were minding their own business eating at a local eatery enjoying the bright crisp Autumn day. It was the perfect weather for a ride.

While they were eating another group walked up to the counter and pulled out knives on the young black haired girl behind the counter. J.J. jumped immediately into action and bolted from his chair pushing it back as it screeched loudly across the floor the aggressors turned towards him with grimaces on their faces.

" This doesn't concern you so sit back down and act like you don't see anything."
One of the aggressors stated in a matter of fact tone,  thinking didn't this guy know that this area was run by the local Mafia family. Jr. and the other two men who came with J.J had severed under him in the war and immediately stood up in support of him.  The Associate from the local Mafia Family  darted his eyes from his two men to the group of men in front of him. "Don't make the wrong mover here man, just walk away." His voice wavered giving away his lack of confidence.  J.J. squinted at the guido in front of him  then his gaze landed on the woman behind the counter.

"Darling can you go in the back for me and find me one of the sweet buns I love so much." Darling nodded at her husband J.J and went to the back as he had he asked knowing he knew full well there were no sweet buns served at her family's  eatery.  J.J turned his attention back  to the guido. His men standing there behind him their  shoulders squared the same blank stare across their faces as he gave his attention back to the guido.

" You see since this is my wife's families place it is entirely my business." J.J responded in a cold steady tone.
Without hesitation the guido lunged towards him his knife outstretched to strike J.J. The the two men with the guido  lunging with him at the group of biker friends. Instead  of the sweet feel of slicing flesh the guido suddenly felt the skull splitting pain of a pall peen hammer cracking his skull as he stumbled to the floor.  The other two men with him also met the same bludgeoning instruments  as their faces were bludgeoned to an unrecognizable pulp.   J.J and the 3 men with him then drug the bodies to the back where he had sent Darling. As he looked up at her she smiled at him and opened up the furnace like oven for him.  The group dismembered the bodies at the butchering table and threw the pieces into the huge furnace like oven.

The Associate he had sent to do this job was one of his aspiring  men so Don Victorola was  irate that he had gone missing. Had he skated town with the take from the protection money he was sent to collect?
Or
Had he gone on another cocaine and whoring binge again.

Several weeks later word had finally gotten to Don Victorola as to what had happened to the Associate and his men. He was furious at first who was this shmuk J.J  to kill his men and avoid the protection taxes that were required of all businesses working in his area.  As he sat listening to what information was gathered  it peaked his interest when heard it had been some ex military group run by this J.J, who rode around together, his vexation at the loss of the Associate turned into a look of opportunity.

So, he sent a message to the bike group that he wanted to have a meeting to discuss business with them. J.J as the President received the invitation  and contacted the V.P. Jr.  he told him of the Mafia mans request. Jr. whose father was from Sicily mentioned to J.J that this meeting could not be denied.

The child's legs barely dangled from the seat as J.J  wearing his patched vest held her on top of his motorcycle.  As the six year old  reached out for the handle bars her mother, Darling came up and sat Cherise's  1 year old brother behind her on the bike.  J.J smiled at his wife of 6 years as he wrapped his free arm around her waist each of them holding their children seated on his bike.  Jr. whose vest has just as many patches on his vest stepped in front of the bike camera in hand and clicked the family portrait.

" Well they don't want you dead otherwise it you would be already. You have to go J.J, I believe they will let you bring one guy with you so I will go with you to this meeting. It may help us that my Pops died as one of them. "
Jr. then clicked the button on the camera taking the family portrait.  J.J gave his wife's waist a gentle and loving squeeze as she  lifted their son Josef from the bike and carried him back into the house. JJ stood near by as he allowed Cherise to play about on his bike.
"Okay we will go to see this... what was his name gain?." He looked at Jr. for confirmation." Don Victorola, we will go to this meeting and see what he wants."
