I really wanted to become a mathematician. My dream was crushed quickly enough when I actually started studying it.

Fighter pilot. Watching Tom Cruise in Top Gun certainly helped, then later watching news at start of first Iraq War, but my eyes were not good enough, so I had to step aside.

My gameplan was to become a wealthy heir, then a well-off rentier and finally a pensioner... Unfortunately, I have yet to inherit a single thing of value and have had to settle for an actual job...

I have to give my 12 years old self some credit though. The plan was 100% solid, I seem to have had a lot more figured out at that age than I do now. Who knows, maybe a rich uncle I didn't know about will pop up soon and then immediately drop dead!

I never had like real thoughts, or a dream

all i knew as a boy of 5, whatever my job would be, it would including driving an excavator. 

Those machines were big, awesome and just super impressive to my young mind. i'd spend hours at the local playground which had a sandbox and an excavator like toy that you coudl use for digging.

For some reason when I was young I always wanted to be the Prime Minster or President of my country.  Why?  I thought they looked cool on TV giving their speeches.  I must have been insane as a child.  Totally insane.

When I was younger I thought about becoming a doctor, but then I saw all the school that needed to be done and the cost of it wasn't worth it for me or my family.

As a child i was no different then any other guy. Wanting to be a policeman or a firefighter.

I remember my mom always telling me that these were no jobs for me. She was scared I would get into trouble. 😁

Honestly I really wanted to be a dinosaur stomping around eating people destroying city's being a apex predator rawr. lmao but seriously i wanted to be a t rex badly. 

Aside from the normal delusions of a child, I really wanted to be an English teacher. Specifically Highschool level, and I wanted to cover the creative writing, Journalism and English Lit courses. But then I realized teachers don't get paid nearly enough, and so became a walmart cashier parttime instead. 

first when I was kid like 4 years maybe, I wanted to be cashier to have all the money I wanted, I thought when I be cashieryou can get how much you want whenever you want :P

What did I want to be when I was a child?  A Child is what I wanted to be but grown ups insist on making children grow up and decide their futures way too soon.  

When I was a kid I used to love thinking that one day I would be able to travel the world and be a photographer for national geographic or something.

Whe I was a kid many moons ago I wanted to be an actor, was part of a drama group and did quite a few plays in theatres my favourite being a musical well extra musical version of Oliver Twist, turns out though once the pebbles dropped my singing voice abandoned me and I had a few nerves in front of camera's, so I became a builder instead.
