After watching the 3rd installment of the Mcgregor vs Poirier fight. And with McGregor's less than stellar record over the last some years. 

Is it over of the FOOOKIN Guy?

I don't watch MMA but have heard the guy interviewed on sports radio a few times. Am betting he will cling to any ounce of fame he can find and try to hang around for years to come. A broken down, aging athlete who still thinks they are elite is a sad thing to watch.

Who is Mcgregor? I don't know this guy so I guess I'm a little behind the times. Sounds like he's a Boxer so that's why I don't know him because I stopped watching fights a long time ago. It's probably been over 30 yrs since I've watched a fight.

Peoplee will pay to see him fight, but he will lose more now, so they are paying to see him loose

It was a freak ankle turn it looked like in the last fight, but now he is feeling human for sure

I think he is too arrogant to retire, I see him trying to get back in the ring one more time only to embarrass himself yet again with his shenanigans. Leg is completely pointing in the opposite direction and still talking shit, he is the type that will never learn his lesson.

Watching him punch the old guy in dublin and he never really flinched was the funniest, just went back to drinking his pint.

He'll most likely fight again - he is too cocky to give up and the UFC makes shitloads every time he is involved in a card. Say what you will about him, he draws a crowd and selld PPVs. That's all UFC really wants. They'll chuck him in there with some former basketball player or something that has no business being in the octagon, give him a sayonara victory and then maybe we'll be shot of him.

He should stick to the proper twelve whisky, his days as a UFC fighter are done he'll never get back to where he once was.

I doubt we heard the last of McGregor but one can only hope he hangs it up and retires. Sorry to all his fans out there.

Idk I think he should just hang it up and focus on being an entrepreneur. He needs to stay out of the ring. Obviously it's not looking too great.

It’s all become more showbiz than anything. These fights are being sold more over the names than actual show of skills in a fight. They hype up the clientele with set up disputes before hand and these fighters give a half ass performance. These two are WWE quality actors, not ufc fighters. 

Conor McGregor has had his day. I believe he isn’t the same person he once was. There will be another fight against Dustin Poirier but I don’t believe he willl win it. Dustin is too much for him to handle. Dustin will beat Oliveria for the title.

I have never been a fan of McGregor to say the least, but that last fight was just embarrassing. I think he is now 1-3 in the last 5 years or something? The guy needs to shut the hell up and win a fight. 

If anything he's lucky his leg broke, gives him an excuse but he was well on his way to an ass kicking. 

McGregor still has some skills but Poirer is no joke either. Hes a legit solid all rounder. The fact that they are now fighting at a heavier weight just played into Dustins advantage more cause he had to cut less weight and could therefore withstand more of a punch, so no quick KO's from Conor this time round.

Conor is still good but the main issue lies in his drive to compete/train. He has all the money now so even though he says he does it for the thrill of competition, the reality is, when you are training and push comes to shove, you dont have that same fire.

i hated the fight

I think there are a couple of things to this. So McGregor was always a better puncher than someone that could kick, work on the floor. The Khabib fight exposed McGregor if you ask me. And everyone has taken a page out of his book, and attacks McGregor accordingly. 

As for the money side of things. I think there is an aspect to this as well. I am of the opinion, that McGregor simply gets in the ring now to make paydays. I dont think he cares much for success anymore. Or at least that fire isn't as big as it use to be. 

Will he fight again? Most probably. As long as there are PPV's to sell, McGregor will fight. Is he going to be worth any of PPV's? Probably not.
