Inside The Criminal Mind of Coco Started by: Cocomelon on Jul 16, '21 09:16

The Loop, CH

Cocomelon's apartment was small, but very pleasing to the eye. A white front door with a golden knocker. Shiny wooden floors. An impressive book collection to the right once one walks inside, plus the warm lights that decorate the atmosphere. However, Coco always wondered - would a bigger space, bigger book shelf or a bigger kitchen fill the hole in her heart? She stared out the window in her kitchen, hardly processing what the radio presenter was saying, but when 'war' passed the presenter's lips, the word repeated itself in Coco's mind. The presenter was reflecting back on the previous events. It suddenly became hard to breathe and she loosened one of the buttons on her cardigan. Coco hadn't had much thought about violence and earning dirty money, not until a week or so ago. Blood and loss was on her hands as she slept.

The next morning she left the church after about an hour as she paid respects to the fallen.

"Why the frown, dear?" A passerby commented as Coco made her way back to her car. Coco looked up at the woman and smiled giving a light shrug. She got into the drivers seat, knowing that she could be hunted down for giving any sorts of information about the war. The streets were ruthless, especially with the kind of people involved in this thing of ours.

The sadness of the morning was soon replaced with joyful relief when she made her way to the family headquarters of 'Raskalz'. It was Albino, a high-profile Don who took Coco in. While she was very grateful, she was also a nervous wreck around her fellow family members. She still didn't know much about anyone and it would be a delight to get to know them all better. Sigh. One day at a time, she said to herself.

In the midst of battle, with many Dons and other high-ranking mafioso paying the ultimate price, there were suddenly dozens of keen and knowledgeable associates running around the streets lost and in search of a new home. Having not been set up for long, Raskalz HQ was lacking in numbers and still in search of fresh talent to help grow the family. Eager to make the best of a bad situation, Albino and his sponsors jumped into recruitment mode and offered safe abode for as many as they could squeeze into their four walls. One of these young budding associates was Cocomelon and immediately upon her arrival, Albino knew she held promise. After the war had finished and the dust had settled, the crime families across the six cities began to rebuild what had been torn apart in the previous days of bloodshed. Albino had started to make his way around to his new associates to introduce himself properly and gauge their future prospects under his wing.

Between his daily chores, he had left Raskalz HQ and saw Cocomelon sat alone on the swing, looking pretty down. Albino glimpsed his watch, shrugging off the meeting he had planned, he made his way over to her.

"You okay there? Sorry to hear of your recent loss. I know I haven't had much time to spare lately, but how about we go indoors, grab a coffee and see if we can't find you some way to fill your time? Take your mind off the recent insanity for a while?" He nodded his head in the direction of the door, offering a smile for comfort.

Coco finally felt at ease and she pushed herself up off the swing, following Albino's lead. She continued the flow of the conversation, trying to express her thoughts as best as she could. "I'm all better now. It's okay, I totally understand by the way - busy times right now. But I'm definitely down for that coffee."

She walked beside him until she reached the coffee shop and she briefly paused her steps to process her surroundings. "Quite busy in there," Coco announces. Good ol' breakfast rush. She smiled towards Albino and shrugged. Before she could catch Albino taking out his cash, she shook her head and reached into her purse. "No, no. My shout. So... what are you having? Croissant? Egg wrap?" As she walked towards the entrance, the smell of coffee and buttered toast reached her nostrils.

Coco found a table and a waitress came over quickly to take their order. She then waited patiently for the food. The fans above her head gave flick-flick sounds. She rested her chin in the palm of her hand, smiling. "So boss, our family is really growing. It's great to see MisterHope learning the ropes of this world as well. I wonder where he is now. I'd like to treat him breakfast!"

MisterHope woke up early today as it was the first day of his newly opened clothing store. He quickly got ready and left his apartment in hurry and excitement of the first day. In his hurry he forgot one thing, breakfast. He had no time to make one now so he decided to stop at the coffee shop on his way to work.

It was a busy day and the coffee shop was already filled with customers. Misterhope walks up to the counter and puts in his order.

He knew the order would take a while but he wanted to be at his best senses at work as it was the first day. So he decided to wait for his order. While waiting he was searching a table or even a corner to go to as there was no one he knew in there. He finally finds a corner and stands there quitely for a while waiting for his order.

Suddenly his eyes wandered to a table where he thought he was seeing some familiar faces. He tried to take a better look so he got close and he was happy to see it was Don Albino and Cocomelon.
