| Bonus On Breaking Out The Crack Down'er | Started by: Kriminal on Jul 14, '11 01:08 |

I think perhaps there should be added incentive to break out the person who threw the crackdown. Right now their name is in red, and it's based on an honor system to break them out because they spent a dollar throwing the crackdown. But sometimes I still see them in jail for a minute, if not more!
An example of added incentive could be, breaking out the player who threw the crack down could be equivalent to breaking out 20 guards or 40 guards, but at the difficulty level at of their real rank. Maybe the chance of a loaded bg is significantly higher when breaking them out.
I don't enjoy seeing people rotting in jail when they spent a dollar putting the hoodlums in jail.
Just my two cents.

I like the sound of this gaining better EXP for busting the person filling the jail, however I can see this being abused as someone could get a low ranker to fill a jail then deliberately get thrown in so they can bust. |

I think that the highlighted name, combined with the message that it's good manners to break them out first, combined with the reduced sentence they have for getting tossed in are already fairly rewarding the crackdown launchers. Usually if someone is going to be jailing who could potentially get thrown in and spending their own credits on it, they have someone of more expertise ready to bail them out if need be by planning ahead. I don't think it's a bad idea, but I don't think there's a need for it either. |

Well put, Crawford. I'd say it was a nice idea in general, but one I wouldnt wish to see implemented as the fact you bust that person is your choice, the reward for that person is already there in the reduced sentence. |

We live in a world built on honor and loyalty. There is no honor in leaving the person who threw the JB session to rot in jail. We should not need incentives to do the honorable thing. This is even more true when it is an immediate family member or city member, you should bust them out straight away.
Smaller point is that most people only throw a JB session when they have friends or associates in town that can either join in or act as a safety net. |

Disagreeing with adding incentives for breaking out the person who threw the JB session is hardly repeating what you said.
There is no need to reward someone for doing the honorable thing. |

I didn't say you repeated what I said. Maybe you should read more carefully. What you said was simply a repeat of another post. Thanks for sharing though. |
