The last thing Johnny remembered was getting shot.

Nearly a year ago he was standing on the corner drinking and smoking with his boy Alcides next thing he hears is a car speeding by and then a few gun shots Alcides ended up dying while Johnny ended up getting shot multiple times he crawled away and then passed out. He woke up in some strange mysterious lady's apartment somewhere uptown. She told him that he had been in a coma for nearly a year. He thought she was crazy but then he went into the bathroom took off his shirt and looked at himself in the mirror he still had the bullets in his chest. How the hell was this possible? How the hell is he still alive? He was sad over Alcides he lived an honest life while Johnny didn't Alcides had a beautiful girlfriend he was actually going to propose to her and showed Johnny the ring.

Meanwhile Johnny the killer, the gangster, the terrible man survived. The universe is a strange place maybe it was supernatural Johnny did have a thing for voodoo that he picked up while he was bootlegging in the caribbean years ago but he hardly believed in it much. He mainly did it because the voodoo priestess he met down there was smoking hot and was letting him get some action. He mumbled a few words and then got himself together he decided he'd visit Alcides brother Ray over in Harlem and try to get back into the flow of things. 

He saw Ray and they ended up taking a ride together in his car across the bridge into Queens to some building. 

"Lotta new faces round here. Hope I ain't missed much."

"You've been gone big man but the world just keeps on movin."

Johnny could tell that he wasn't happy to see him. In fact he felt disappointed in having to talk to him everything Johnny asked him felt like an inconvenience to Ray. We entered the building some abandoned apartment building and went up in the elevator.

"So who we seeing?"

"You love to ask too many questions don't you huh?"

Before Johnny could respond Ray puts a garrote wire around his neck and starts choking him. The two goons with Ray just smile and watch as what's happening. The truth was that they didn't have any business at this building the plan was to kill Johnny here and then dump the body somewhere. Johnny struggles to breathe and tries to get Ray off of him. They keep on moving back and forth but Ray was in complete control he was smiling as the life was slowly going away from Johnny's body. Johnny realizing that he didn't have much time reaches for one of the goons guns he grabs it then shoots him and the other goon. Ray lets go of Johnny and Johnny finally free and catching his breath aims his gun at Ray.

"Lets go upstairs Ray boy."

The elevator reaches the top floor and Johnny leads Ray to the roof.

"I was just following orders."

Johnny smacks Ray

"Who are you working for?"

Johnny already knew what the words that were going to come out of Ray's mouth were but he wanted to hear them anyway.

"The Stokes."

Johnny smacks Ray again

"How could you? After everything they've done to me, Alcides, everybody what the fuck is wrong with you? You're such a disappointment man Alcides would be ashamed of you."

Ray coughing up blood now just smiles

"I'm my own man."

"Go tell him yourself then."

Johnny shoots Ray in the head and then in the chest killing him. He looks through Ray's pockets takes his wallet and then also takes his gold watch and then leaves.
