Marsh walked outside his HQ, still looking tired. The events over the last few days had obviously taken a toll.

Friends, I wanted to get out here a bit sooner but nonetheless I think it's now time to clear the air about the events that happened earlier this week regarding the removal of FlintBeastwood and Gli Angeli Della Notte. 

GFC Harper had originally spoken to me and the other crew leaders in Vegas about a week or so ago about a general lack of communication between the families of Las Vegas, its members and a reluctance to submit shot reports.  By and large everyone rose to the challenge, and through a process of cajolling, threats and punishment, almost everyone in the city submitted their shot reports....except for Flint's family, including the upper structure.   Not a single shot report for over 10 days.   

Ordinarily, this wouldn't have been enough to spell the end of Gli Angeli Della Notte.  In fact, Harper had told me that she was prepared to work with Flint to help motivate his members even when the shot report collection bin for his family remained bare.

However, Harper received credible evidence of a planned attack against her by Gli Angeli Della Notte and their friends.  She discussed this with the other Godfathers, and with me, and was even aware that Flint knew that she knew of his plans. Harper was left with no choice but to strike first. 

Unfortunately the planned precision removal of the main threats did not go according to plan due to a gun misfire, and although EvilClown died in the first wave, Flint survived and killed GFC Harper in retaliation.  For the next 24 hours, we had a game of cat and mouse as Flint roamed the country, primarily killing members of Chong's family. 

Eventually, Flint was dispatched but not before some good lives were lost.  

We lost many good friends and allies across the six cities.  Some to Flint and some to defensive actions that went horribly wrong. When the dust finally settled, the political landscape had been permanently altered.

Now begins the task of rebuilding Las Vegas.  I look forward to working with Drake and an Auth who will be announced soon to rebuild our beautiful city.  I look forward to working with our West Coast sister city, LA, and in particular Chong, who unfortunately felt the brunt of Flint's wrath while Chong helped us to defend Vegas.  I also look forward to working with the other four cities to help build a brighter future for us all.  Thank you to all who were able to step up and assist.  Your contributions will not be forgotten.

Let us always remember Godmother Harper's memory.   She built a great foundation for this city and died too soon.   I learned a lot from her and look to follow in her footsteps with the rest of Las Vegas to help build the city in her vision.   Hopefully nothing like this happens again here anytime soon.

And with that, Marsh turned and walked away from the crowd.    He had a few too many funerals to visit.
