"Lissa, what the hell?" He screamed at her.

Her eyes narrowed a little more as she grabbed another dish and threw it at him. Watching it hit the wall, instead of him.

"YOU NEVER. BROUGHT ME. HOME. FLOWERS." Her voice was almost a growl at this point. They had been fighting for well over an hour. She had seen him meeting some girl at the local coffee shop. He had given her flowers.

Knowing it was his sister hadn't eased her mind in the slightest. She was mad. Maybe it had nothing to do with him but he was her target tonight. As another dish flew, he easily side stepped it.

"You don't even like flowers, Lissa. You don't care for all that romantic gesture crap. It's why I married you for heaven's sake!" He calmly folded his arms across his chest. Sidestepping every dish she threw at him.

He was always so damn sure of himself. Always so perfect and reasonable. She growled once more at him before flinging herself across the room in his direction.

It was animalistic, he saw it coming and prepared himself. With a grab, he had her slammed into a wall.

"Screw you!" Lissa managed to spit out as his hand closed around her neck.

His face came within inches of her face and his tone changed as he regarded her.

"You'd love that Princess, perhaps you should simmer down first or save it for the bedroom."

Her nails dug into the arm that was attached to the hand around her neck. With a growl, the fight left her.

"Is this what love is?" She asked.

"For us? Yes. It's not silly flowers or candy like other husbands get their wives. We're real Lissa. It's always been like this for us. Between us."

As she relaxed, her husband removed his hand from her throat. Lissa slapped him across the face and walked into another room to contemplate what he had just said. The fight was over, just like that.
