An unusual and flamboyant creature climbed upon a soap box outside the local liquor and gambling establishment, his chest was puffed out and his eyes were circling the crown until the stopped right at YOU! His gaze followed yours until he started to speak...

You've never met me but I am here and I would like to introduce myself...Though before I do I must explain that I can not simply introduce myself by saying my name because there is more to me than just a name. I would also like to think that there is more to you than just a name also, or I can rephrase that to you can also be more than just a name if you are willing to listen to my story...

I need to learn to breathe when I talk...

The man took a deep breathe into his lungs and then exhaled and met your gaze once more.

It began about two years ago! I was a lousy excuse for a human being. I did drugs on the daily, never had a bottle of alcohol out of my hand and sober wasn't really in my vocabulary... Then it all changed and I didn't see it coming but it was quite miraculous...

The man looked into the sky and then lowered his head looking to his blazer pocket, he reached over and lifted the book out and waved it infron of the crowd...

This book! It's not just any old book, a god came to me when I was in a dream state and he told me how to change and how to feel euphoric when I'm sober...

You can feel this way too, all you need to do is take a leap of faith and come listen to me. Bring all your worldly possessions and we can start by putting you through the great cleanse...

Here take this book and and really take it in...

The book of Heathens Gate.

The front page depicts a drawing of a god reaching out of the clouds and a man with sword on the ground slashing at his arm.

You decide not to open the book yet and the man walks into the crowd with his hands raised whilst some people in white blazers follow him...

The Greek went on an adventure in the middle of the woods, which ended in his eventual getting lost, and this time his voice was far too hoarse to scream for help which made him sound like he was wheezing more than shouting. With each raspy throat whistle that he mustered there was an awkward pause for a few minutes while he regained strength to try another, but at this point the lack of water was really taking its toll, and he quickly found himself resting on a rock.

He... p...

HE...lp..

There was no one coming, and it was about that time when he looked up towards the sky and began making arrangements with every religious being from each order all at once in an attempt to make good with all of the bad he had done. After getting through most of the Egyptian Gods, his mind was as nearly tired as the rest of him. Just as he was about to lose all hope, that's when he could hear the murmuring of people walking through the place that snapped him right out of his daze.

Greek Freak, come to me. No, it wasn't his time yet. He wouldn't follow those words and instead he attempted to force himself off from the rock and back into reality, away from the light that was beckoning him. That's when he noticed all of the men and women in white blazers who were walking in a uniform line and his curiosity got the better of him; was this how he would be saved, or were they just a figment of his imagination from being without human contact for so long?

"Who are you people?" there was no answer, but instead a white blazer was handed to him and in some miracle it fit his extremely large body unlike anything else he had ever worn. "So is this some sort of party? Do you guys have any water?" while nothing to drink was offered to him, there was a book placed into his hands which almost vibrated as he held it. It was a strange thing, and the numbers and letters that were on the front cover seemed to put him into a trance-like state when he found himself having the strangest urge to send all of his cash to someone's bank account.

Fighting that urge, however, he walked in the uniform line to see if maybe they would take him out of this forest and into a nice clearing with a nice lake to drink from, or something. Not saying no to many adventures, this seemed to be the start of something both strange and yet curiously exciting.

"No, but seriously, I'm going to need something to eat soon. I've been lost out here for nearly two hours now." he pulled out a tiny bottle of alcohol and took a few swigs before sitting back down on the rock and reading some of the book. There didn't seem to be much content inside, but there was a lovely picture inside and that had to count for something, right? Instead of dwelling for too long about the book, the Freak stood back up and set it down onto the floor of the woods and ran towards where he saw the people go-- finally, he found civilization, or at least a road that led him back to comfort.

"Thanks, Heathens Gate." throwing a few dollars towards the man who had probably saved him from sleeping in the forest again, he went on his way back into the great outdoors. The sky was the limit for the ole Greek Freak.

The man was tending to his grape vine when one of the Heathens most loyal followers approached him and handed him a bag of cash... The man looked inside the bag and tied it to his belt.

Charles! You gave that man the wrong book didn't you? I told you to throw those copies out we have the final updated version with all of our preaching's. I know there was a lovely illustration but we are past that now, more advanced. Go! Go now! See if you can get that man back and find others. We need to spread the word of our holiest heathens! Or thy cometh striketh downeth to the groundeth!

The man tapped the bag on his side...

I should go and burn this, all of you tend to the vines and I will go and find a peaceful place where nobody can find me and cleanse the world of this materialistic hmpth and hampth...

He trailed off sniggering and saying random words under his voice...
