Probably going to get a lot of backlash for this but this godfather rank is becoming a joke. When I first got here it was normaly extremely solid player's in these positions whom had worked there ass off for 4 months to get there. Over the last year and half there have been a monopoly on the cities via every regime that has ran the game. I understand in many peoples opinions it ensures saftey, what I dont understand is why people are ok with how simple it is to challenge the godfather. 20 members 60 units and 120 days. The only difficult part is surviving 120 days. Which imo and how slow paced the game has been is no longer difficult. There should be some sort of mechanical skill involved building a gun or killing x amount of cls, or making x amount of money for your city. Multiple times this year inactive players have stepped up to replace inactive godfathers only to be inactive when they step up . People take the postion for the boost. Most players dont want the responsibility, they just want the title and the perks that come with it. After all this I realize I did not suggest anything. So my suggesting would be to add something on top of the 60 units and 120 days. Its extremely easy to transfer members from a friends crew temporily to get godfather it was done multiple times these last 6 months. Side note, I'm a firm believer that a regime who takes over should feel free to run things how they like. Would love to hear other opinions . |

I think this is a tree many of us have been barking up so long, we've just given up hope that change will come. I'd agree that the rank of GF lost it's value but I'd say that it happened a long time before a year or so ago. I think the beginning of the downfall of the rank were the additions of Districts and allowing 18 Godfathers to be alive and active at any one point. I think this is the single most reason we have seen the fall from glory. Or as you put it why there aren't solid players who have worked their asses off to get there. Personally I would like to see us return to the days of a single Godfather per city, and bring some meaning back to the rank. But as I said this is a tree I've been barking up a long time and do not expect to change. |
