There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering kaboom.

These are the words allegedly uttered by Marvin Marsh when he finally stepped up to the plate and took out the previous Godfather of LV to become Godfather of The Strip and Defacto GFC of Las Vegas. It hadn't gone according to plan, but then as with everything in this life, things generally don't go according to plan for Marsh. He stumbled into the Godfather's office, tripped over the rug and fell flat on the floor, erroneously discharging his Vapourizer 6000 ray gun. This struck the ceiling above the Godfather immediately, causing the toilet in his master bathroom to crash down on top of him, killing him instantly. 

Immediately upon realising his success, he returned to his ship HQ and contacted Queen Tyr'ahnee. With her blessing he then assumed the mantle of Godfather.

Honestly, I don't know much about Marsh's lineage. Despite both of us having had family on these shores for more years than either of us can remember, our families have never worked together before. We first met each other during the war against JoynerLucas. I had his back throughout the war, and when we emerged victorious and the dust had settled, he asked me to take up the mantle as his RHM. I have served in that capacity ever since, and I have had his back ever since. When we survived the war against FlintBeastwood I was happy to continue to stand by Marsh as he started the slow process of rebuilding Vegas.

Today, we took a giant leap towards the realisation of Marsh's plans as he took his rightful place as Godfather of Las Vegas. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and children of all ages, Touch of Evil proudly presents to you, the Godfather of Las Vegas, Marsh.

Marsh stepped forward to address those that had gathered around, a little disheartened that Touch_of_Evil felt the need to explain all of the details of his recent ascension to the position of Godfather.

Hello, friends.   Yes, I can confirm these details are true.   The ends justify the means as they say and I am honored to serve the great city of Las Vegas as their Godfather-Chariman.

Life has a funny way of working out.   The path I have taken was long, winding and unpredictable.      Some friends and friendships were lost but many others have been gained.

I started out as a humble gangster in this criminal world out in the fine city of New York.  As time went on, I grew my criminal prowess and gained knowledge from those around me.     Eventually, following a bit of bloodshed, the now-deceased Harper took the reigns in Vegas and asked me to join her in the city as her RHM to help build the city up again.   The opportunity was unexpected but lit a fire inside me to do whatever I could to help Sin City.     

This fire still burns to this day.

The position of Godfather is something my lineage has never achieved and I do not take the honor lightly.  

I pledge to you all I will do my best to lead by example and surround myself with those that have the same mindset, regardless of whether our family lines have known each other for years or have just met this generation, as ToE explained is the case with us.  I have faith that H-E-R-O and TheBeast will also uphold these values as well as they focus on the growth of their respective districts.    

To close, hopefully one day we look back on this day with pride, the beginning of a special time for us all.   Alas, it will come to an end one day but let's all enjoy it while it lasts.      

And with that, Marsh made his way through the crowd, shaking the hands of as many as possible.    He had to get back to his HQ as he received word there were some petulent children about causing some mischief with molotov cocktails and dynamite.
