| Free timers for brand new accounts | Started by: Xavier on Sep 15, '21 12:47 |

Now you might already do this (so sorry if you do) but I was thinking it would be a good idea to give brand new accounts an activated 30 days timers package to help get them started. Most people won’t invest money into a game unless they think it’s worth investing in. By giving these new accounts the timers and maybe a bit of start up cash 50/100k or so it might ease the transition from a standing start for new joiners to the site. Same could be applied for accounts that have been dormant for 1 year +. I hear a lot of people chat in main how they been playing for 10+ years shows that the game has strong retention, but it’s easy to forget how hard it is for new people to get on their feet. Obviously CLs can help, but if it’s automated at least you know everyone has an equal start. Just an idea |

This is a good idea, especially for brand new players, to get a 30-day timers package when they start. +1 |

Great idea, I think they get some upon signing up but not 30 days. +1 |

I know back in the day this was the case, well at least 7 free days, don't know if it is still the case. |

Currently, all new accounts coming into the game start off with 7 days of timers, all 'been gone a while' accounts, get sent a mail giving them free 7 days of timers from that time too. (But if you sign up 6 days later, you only have 1 day left kinda thing) |

I agree with this suggestion and think that 30 days is reasonable. While nice, 7 days isn't that long to get into the swing of things as a fresh player and in my experience they often run out just as a player is getting acquainted with the drug system and crimes. +1 |

I'd be on board with a new Master account being given 30 days of timers. That's probably the minimum time for a truly new player to get into the swing of the game, even with a good teacher. |
