The star wars one is a little disingenuous considering there was other Star Wars movies released, albeit still a while between the original release and the prequels.

I don't see why they have to make huge gaps between each film as then you would have to watch the first one again just to remind you of the story.

It didn’t quite make the cut, but one that was shocking to me was The Incredibles and The Incredibles 2.

I bet most of these movies were done like for nostalgia of them, either some nostalgic fan or producer, or someone younger wanting to do something with the vibes those old movies had.

The book thief is an excellent read. Surprisingly the film was equally as good and powerful. Not everyone's cup of tea but I really enjoyed / found it interesting and compelling.
