| New Casino Game "Poker" | Started by: The_Punisher on Mar 30, '08 12:26 |

I'am new to the game and i think it great actually i have become quite addicted to it, however one of the first things that i noticed when i was trying to make money was the lack of gambling facilities at the casino. Now I'am pretty sure that poker was around at the time on the mafia therefore I think that this would be a good addition to add to the game. Multiple players can play in the same game while earning money, however it could also be used as another means or communication between players You could also incorporate different games of poker into the game such as:- Five Card Texas Hold'em |

I would also second that, it would also be pretty cool if you could have private poker games with your friends. I have no doubt it would be rather difficult to code, especially if you made it so that you were interacting with different players though. Nice thought. |

| There is talk to have one in game. I haven't been down to talk to Izzy in a while about what is going on with V2, but it is on my agenda very soon. | |

| Izzy's helping Secret Agent with customizing some graphics and updating them so they blend in with the new game as Outer Realm Poker is sticking around when the new version of the game goes live. | |

I have chatted to Izzy about an IG solution aswell. Unfortunately, from what I can glean, it is a lot more difficult to implement than single player games, (BJ, Roulette etc). I think his comeback to me was: "If you can come up with a PHP, Ajax based game, then sure I will implement it" Don't think this is going to happen guys. But, as Pantuseus pointed out, OuterRealm has a lovely flash based solution. It is really quite schmexy, you should check it out. |

Yeah, agree totally, implement 10 hand tables tournaments. With pay in $10k. And winner takes it all. That could help some players. :) |

If I recall correctly from the past, the people involved would send their money to a "money holder" of their choosing before entering the poker game. Then, after the game is over, the "money holder" sends the money to the winner. Correct me if I am wrong, for it has been quite a while. |
