Mr_Keating walks over to his favourite soapbox, stopping only to discreetly slip a perky device that will help any good thief into the pockets of Paste.  He then addresses the gathered crowd...

"With all the recent unpleasantness that's been going down recently, I decided to imitate the actions of our most recent Writing Competition organiser and hand an award to someone who hadn't actually entered the competition!

Selected totally at random, we believe that Paste is a worthy recipient of the prize, which had been donated, with various other valuables, to the late Rocky and kept in a vault for a future use.  Probably in a writing competition, if/when the population can handle the losses.

We hope that Paste enjoys his prize, and that the happiness and joy that this altruistic act inspires in this thing of ours will make even the saddest of brains less sad.  If only for a short amount of time.

I, for one, despite the endless insults, abuse, slander, libel, threats, denunciations, and chronic ill-will directed towards me remain pleased at the recent revival in the Streets.  It's been busy around here, and that is surely only a good thing.

And with that, I'll bid you all a fond farewell."
