Who Would Duel Me? Started by: Mr_Keating on Nov 09, '21 18:43
I wonder, among my legion of detractors, imitators and joyless leeches, who would duel me?

Who would pit their pistol skills against mine?

There would have to be an evenness - wouldn't be respectful to duel someone who has got their button.

But does anyone else have what it takes?

Tony, you might die. But WhyBother duelling someone if there's a chance you might survive?

Go out, Put the work in, Get your button, and I will gladly put my life up against yours.

All day, any day. Although, in reality, I would gain nothing from this.

Shouldn't you be working on the results for your 'safe and fair' writing competition, instead of being out here on the streets asking about duels?

From what I can see, it ended already (after the deadline was already moved), yet no further updates have been given.

SatoruGojo - work is continuing.

Shouldn't you be mourning the dozen or more fatalities CAUSED by your LHM's competition?

I do not believe DuckTheKitty has done a competition yet, observant as always Mr_Keating.

Nice attempt at deflection too.

I look forward to the results from your competition.

Oh, you've promoted the Grim Reaper of the Competitive Writing Community

Would you be interested in a rematch?

I think you'll find it was your forefathers and their sycophantic arsewipe friends that were responsible for the deaths of any entrants to my competition. As for the rest of the deaths, that was your not so great great grandfather and his muppet squad reaping what the sowed. Honestly, if I thought running a competition would see you and your ilk die, I'd run one every single day.

I'd love to duel you, you little prick. But I don't think you have the stones to accept.

Seems like the man Kuku is loved by many, keep up this, love it BIG.

Must be fun to keep on thinking being a good guy and continue to be a bad one in many eyes.

Not easy with a broken brain in life, know many with same problems and they get help by health care and thanks to that getting nearer a good one. Just sayin..

While Marishka was walking on the street, she noticed a few people grouped and one standing on a soapbox, which she recognized as Mr_Keating. She listened to everything he sayed and then, while putting her arm up, she said:

"I would duel you anywhere, anytime, at any rank. And if i die, i would gladly come back and duel you again. But mister, not cause you're worthy nor cause it would honor me, but only cause i despise you with every inch of my soul, heart and my being itself. If i could, i would erase you from existance. Our world is troubled as it is, and you keep bringing plague and putrid to it. I would lose to see you fall. Each and every time and each and every kin of yours."

She smiled to him and kept walking, her vampire blood burning into her dead veins.

And correcting my last line:

"I would LOVE to see you fall. Over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. But i do know you'll keep coming back. You mister, you enjoy being the stone in the shoe. You enjoy being the different guy, the one who bothers everyone. Maybe because you don't have anything else? But i do know, your existance is futile. And if you are satisfied being the one who brings us some excitement now and then, and fights, maybe even some fun in cursing and humiliating your entire family? Please, keep doing as you do! Or please, do not."

After correcting her mistake, Marishka went back to her place to have strong drink and fresh whore blood. The only stuff that could make her head stop throbbing from that terrible carrion smell from Kuku's grangrandson, that she was still smelling in the air around her.

Marishka - it must be a terrible burden to carry around such anger; such hatred.  And for no good reason either.

Holding onto a cinder with the intent of throwing it at someone only burns you.

I will pass on this offer. The reasons will be in another story of mine but long and short He paid for his sins like all of us will in one way or the other. This is why its bad form to disrupt the funeral or insult the dead. Until the bloodline shows their intent to continue the fathers sins they are blameless. Someone with optimism would even believe the offspring would learn from those mistakes.

Enzo smiled as he approached. "I mean, I would love to, nothing is more fun than a duel, but your like family so why would I want to risk your life good sir." Enzo looked over Mr Keating as his time with Adalynn he had met him a few times getting to know him.

WhyBother smile big after what wonderful Mariska wrote, love it BIG.

Not easy to be a Kuku, tahts for sure, just to have fun which never Kuku can understand. Pass over some pills to him so he can be a betetr one perhaps soon. Not easy for some without taking drugs, not easy without them.

Marishka - maybe, just maybe, you're right, and this society is all that I have.  And that's why I work so damn hard at creating something positive.  Have you ever thought about that?  I've been accused of people only liking me for my money.  You know how much that hurts?  Yeah, I give whatever I have to my friends, some of whom haven't spoken to me for years without asking for money, but I know they care.

And yeah, sometimes I have been known to consume lots of intoxicants, and yeah, maybe that doesn't help me climb out of the pit of despair that my unemployment and loveless life, but you know what?  My enforced solitude, time off through lack of a job, and dependency on narcotics makes me a damn good writer, and an even better organiser of competitions.

Report Post Tip

And very, very delusional  you forgot delusional. You are at best a mediocre writer, and your competitions, like yourself, suck the dried sweet of a dead dogs balls.

Report Post Tips: 3 / Total: $60,000 Tip

What upsets me, is that even those who know how meagre and unfulfilled my life is would still seek to remove me from this thing of ours, or at the very least, curtail my stewardship of the Competitive Writing scene.

You're the type of people that would steal food from a starving person.
