"Days gone by, the number of people involved in this thing of ours retiring were few and far between. If a fellow tired of this life, he'd often do down shooting, try and pop an enemy or two on his way to Florida. Or else he'd tell his boss his plan to retire and he'd get retired, permanently. But lately, retiring seems quite the norm. What is happening?" |

I would assume going down by shooting on the way to Florida, might get you put in a grave. Which isn't retiring and hurts your name. Retiring is a way to leave this world and still maintain your good bloodline, in case your sons/daughters want to grace this world. |
