Adalynn returned to her office in the heart of Los Angeles. Her body was exhausted, her face expressionless, and her hands still wet with blood. The deed had been done. She had now risen to the highest position of influence possible. She was not the God Mother Chairman of the city. She had been filling the role for so long, but it was official now. There were so many moments that lead to this one. So many people she felt thankful for having in her life. It was just as much a victory for them as it was for her.

She ran her fingers across her desk as she took a seat on her massive chair. She looked around remembering all of the times, both good and bad. Just like Karma, the good and the bad was always needed. It creates a balance, and adds to life itself. It's what helps the soul grow. She closed her eyes for a few moments, then opened them slowly. The corner of her mouth inched upward as she smiled slightly. As she did her phone rang. She answered to hear the voice of her childhood guardian, Mikazuki.

"Well.. you've done it now haven't you. Congratulations dear, it's been a long time coming. Now just get ready for this phone to ring nonstop the moment I hang up."

With that the line went dead. As she slowly placed the phone back down. The moment she did, it began to ring again. She let it continue to ring as she leaned far back into her chair and exhaled slowly. She was excited for what the future brought, and hoped only for the best of Karma.

Pepsi is in deep thought in his walk, when he stumbles across another celebration. He was aware of the exact time this glorious moment took place, as he had sent well wishes. Pepsi looks around and see a few people headed in his direction. 

Allow me to be the first to kick off this celebration to congratulate Godmother Chairman Adalynn.

Congratulations to you and your city.

TGE was following Pepsi-Cola and watched as he congratulated a new Godfather Chairman in LA. After her Boss finished her congratulations, TGE sauntered in to offer her own. She grabbed a glass and raised it.

Congratulations to the new Godfather Chairman of LA. Adalynn, you have worked tirelessly and deserve this! May you live long and prosper through this New Year!!

TGW atepped back and made way for the rest of the gangsters.

The time had finally come, his boss had finally acclaimed the title of Godfather Chairman, albeit this was a role she had unofficially held for some time now. Yakuza was her Right Hand Man and close confidant for sometime now and he knew better than most, that Adalynn had long deserved this. 

Nonetheless, the time had arrived and Yakuza was sitting in the bosses office, awaiting her arrival. He had his men secure the compound so all was safe in anticipation of her ascension to Godfather Chairman. Yakuza, had worse his finest Italian handmade silk suit. Pouring a glass of dry whiskey for himself and the boss he patiently waited. 

After not too long, the boss had arrived, dressed as elegantly as ever. Yakuza, quickly stood up as the Adalynn worked in through the door and he quickly attended to her. 

Bowing in front of her  he quietly whispered. 

"Boss, I wanted to congratulate you in person for your great achievement. This is a monumentus moment for you and the City of Los Angeles. You truly deserve this for all of your continuous hard work" 

Yakuza took a brief pause and a step back, before continuing to speak..

"Boss, I also want to personally thank you for entrusting me with the opportunity of being your right hand man and for giving me and the city of Los Angeles to thrive under your steadfast stewardship" 

Before Adalynn could speak, the phone on her desk rang. 

"Boss, we have the other Chairmans across the cities on hold waiting to speak to you, I will leave you to attend these congratulatory messages, i'll be waiting outside once you're done"

Yakuza, had organised a lavish party for the new Godmother of LA. The party was going to be at the grandest venue in all of Los Angeles, and the esteemed attendees ranged, from Gangsters, to Politicians and Celebrities, all there to celebrate Adalynn's ascension.
