Was just wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a music league? Basically, everyone in the league will add two songs (must have spotify) to the ranking that week. Each week will be a different sort of theme to follow. After everyone has submitted their songs, everyone then goes to vote on the songs they think fit the best. At the end of the league, the points are all tallied up until we have our top three! 

I thought this could be a fun way to be exposed to music you may have never heard of before, and also get to know one another through our musical tastes. Could also potentially put a prize pool on it if that sways people one way or the other? I look forward to some feedback. Thanks!

Absolutely. So one of the other ones I'm already in have a theme this week that says "you're a ghost watching your descendants live their messy complicated lives. this music plays as you passively observe." So you'd pick a song that you can imagine playing in that moment. 

The week before that it was "two immortal lovers, separated for 1000+ years are finally reunited. this is the song that plays."

There's really a lot that you could do with it in my opinion.

I would be interested in having a look at this 

I love a lot of different music genres and always looking for new artists and or genres 

Alright, that's two people interested. I'll leave this open for a bit longer before I create the league. Try and gauge interest before the effort is put in and whatnot.

I'll opt in. Would be interesting to see how I'll fare even though I know my music taste is lacking in specific areas

Alright, league is up. It'll be a simple process. I'll keep an eye on who are all in or not, see if we're missing anyone. Anyone else that joins, just let us know so we can keep a head count.

Absolutely! You have until Sunday to submit before the voting starts.

I'll opt in as well if there's room as this seems pretty fun and is something I definitely don't think we've done here before!
