The top 1.5% guns in the active player population AND are above 1,000 wack after max will taper as the following:

The first spot of the 1.5% = +50% (From 1,000-1,499) (+25% From 1,500-1,999) (+10% From 2,000+)

**this area scales with even distribution from 1st to last***

The last spot of the 1.5% = +95% (From 1,000-1,499) (+70% From 1,500-1,999) (+55% From 2,000+)

How does this affect BG wack tapering?

If you are the last spot of the top 1.5% AND had a wackstat after max of 1,320 you would be at 95%

 +95% would translate into receiving 95% of what you would get had you not been in tapering.

Pre tapering value->Post tapered value

1.00->0.95 
0.50->0.48 
0.34->0.32 
0.14->0.13

How would +1 Marksmanship work with the tapering? Curious if it would still be +1 kill or less if you were in the top percentage.

Tapering is the final modifier before anything is recorded. A +1 markmanship is the same as a kill. What you get out of that kill is based upon if you are in tapering or not and what position.
