After the dust had settled a little after the war Roxie had to make some quick decisions. She had options but not that many.

She called a meeting and as she sat with @Mr-Diabolic on her right and Lancelot on her left at the conference table in the headquarters, she summons Pete-Gangi to the conference room. 

When Pete walked in she told him he could fix himself a drink if he wanted and have a seat.  Since they  already had drinks in front of them he felt comfortable in walking over to the bar fixing himself that drink. He poured a shot and downed it then poured another, had a seat in front of them at the table.

Roxie didn’t beat around the bush.  She explained that she was still overwhelmed about the fact of losing so many people in New York especially Aliyan.  He was a good man with a lot of potential. 

Her headquarters was full and she needs someone to step up and house the members who now found themselves crewless.  Over and over again Pete had proven his loyalty. She knew he could be trusted because he had her back through thick and thin.  She told him she hoped that he would step up to the plate and take on the responsibility as well as the opportunity.  Roxie was so relieved when without hesitation Pete told her he was definitely up for the challenge.  Roxie knew in her heart she could depend on him to suit up.

Well it’s all settled then Roxie told everyone.  She handed the keys to Pete’s temporary headquarters.  She told him she was in the process of buying a building turning it into a business complex and eventually moving the operations there.

Pete took the keys, smiled and told them  make room for The Quorum.

They all stood up and congratulated him.

Pete was still trying to get his head around the events that had taken place.  As he sat in his apartment, his phone began to ring he shook his head and went to answer.  He was told that Roxie wanted everyone at the office she needed to talk with him.  Agreeing and already dressed he headed over.  When he arrived, he walked into the office and saw Mr_Diabolic and Lancelot sitting with Roxie.   He knew that this was going to get serious real quick.  Roxie gave him the opportunity to manage a crew, he paused for a second as he had been her right hand for a while and learn a lot from her.  He agreed and she smiled tossing him a set of keys to his office building.

Thanks' Roxie, I appreciate the chance, I won't let you down.  Congrats gentlemen I know you will keep her safe and we are still one big happy family.  Now, where is this building, that goes with these keys.  I need to pick my office out first.  

Pete was excited to rebuild and form a team growing the city as a brotherhood.  He looked at the keys in his hand and smiled nodding as Roxie was smiling with both Mr_Diabolic and Lancelot.  

Salamandre clapped his hands at the announcement, he was happy to have been offered a leading role within the family and had a lot of respect for Pete-Gangi as did his father, Aliyan.

"Congratulations boss, I have faith you will do some great things as a leader"

he raised a glass and took a sip of his drink.

Making his way over to Peter-Gangi Lancelot places his hand on his shoulder and smiles "Congratulations Pete I have enjoyed our short time together here in Intriguing minds been a pleasure getting to know you, whilst the circumstances are not what anyone was expecting or hoping Manhattan needed someone to step up and take over the void left by the untimely demise of Aliyan GRHS, glad to see it is you and I look forward to seeing how you progress and as always give me a shout if you need anything"

Lancelot raises a glass!

Pete shook Salamandre hand and thanked him.  He and Salamander father were good friends and now Salamandre was there at his side.  

Your father was a good friend of mines and stood tall when he was needed.   Together we will make New York proud as we and all the other families across the United States form a real brotherhood.  Cheers mate. 

Pete raised his glass then took a sip. 

Pete turned to face Lancelot and thanked the man.  Pete knew that Lancelot was a good man to have around, and Roxie would be protected and supported.

Thanks Brother and congrats to you too.  You're doing very well my friend.   

Pete raised his glass with Lancelot. 

Aqua leaned against the doorframe and smiled as Pete was congratulated. She waited her turn to greet her old friend and when there was room she moved to speak with him. 

"Congratulations Pete. It's good to see you have your own crew. I know you've worked your ass off to get here and I could not be more proud and happy for you". 

Aqua raised her glass to toast Pete, "Let the good times roll".

Pete smiled grow when he saw Aqua_Tofana walking towards him he was happy to see her, she was his compass and could calm him down with a few questions and statements.  She was his counselor and now his Consigliere.  He thanked her for coming to the celebration.   

Young Lady I was wondering if you were going to make it.  I figured you had to find the right dress and then matching shoe and then your purse and check out which earrings.  You know the usual lady stuff you do to arrive fashionable late. 

Pete started laughing as Tofana gave him a gut shot and took a drink from the waiter walking by.   

BrunoD had learned of the newly appointed leader in Manhattan. He wanted to make sure he congratulated him and the Godmother of Manhattan. He walked over to both of them and extended his hand to shake theirs.

"Congratulations on your new appointment Pete."

He walks over to Godmother Roxie.

"Sorry to see the district have to rebuild but I know you can make it better than before. Congrats on your new Captain."
