What do you mean you don't want to buy our stuff? Its real deal Joe Louis....No don't. Don't hang up. Listen we can come to an agreement. Wait just hear me out. The phone goes dead. Hello? Hello? Pablo...Pablo? OH WHAT THE Bellicose began to slam the phone into its place holder. His frustration at another dealer canceling their agreement because they found a new business partner was causing mass frustration in his brain. Bellicose turned over to his friend and confident known as Lee_Catalino and stared at him blankly. How the hell does this keep happening to me. Its like these people continue, time after time to find a better business partner. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!? Lee Shrugged his shoulders and Bellicose stared. He pulled out his gun and laid it on the table. That's it. I'm going to go meet this guy and buy some of this guys product. I think that will be the only way to know what and more importantly WHO I'm actually competing with. First it was Joe the Buck now its Pablo Palazzo. What's next, will I lose Rebecca too?! Shit. Bellicose got in his vehicle and began to drive towards the inner city of Los Angeles. It was certainly a rougher area where the mobsters did not patrol enough because they did not care to associate themselves with the crowd there. Robberies and murder flourished out there to the point that no one batted an eye when they heard about it. Bellicose looked at his paper where he had previously written down the note. This should be the place. Lets go meet this drudgery fuck. Bellicose walked up the steps. Several guys were standing out with pistols holstered. A few women were standing around dressed scantily and were laughing at how Bellicose was dressed. He walked in the door and began to look for the dealer known as Snake Eyes. Soon after he began to notice how some of those guys were following right behind him. One guy in particular was walking a little too close for comfort that if Bellicose would have stopped he definitely would have ran into him. Bellicose turned around and faced towards them. Hey...I am here for the man they know as Snake Eyes. I heard he has something called Sugar Rush and I wanted to get my hands on it. They began to laugh. Bellicose did not know what was so funny. One of the goons quickly responded. Yeah sure, we can take you to Mr. Snake eyes. I am sure he has some Rush left for you. They wandered down the hall and up the staircase at the end of it. They followed Bellicose up the stairs until he was face to face with a Man and a Woman who sat on a couch. Bellicose smiled at them. So you must be Mr. Snake Eyes. My friends have told me a lot of your product, Sugar Rush and said that I would love it. I was curious if I could get my hands on it. I have money. Bellicose pulls out an envelope and begins to hand it to the man. The two begin two laugh with each other as the woman stands up. She stared right at Bellicose and began to condescendingly speak to him. First off I'm this MR SNAKE EYES that you wanted to meet. Second off Don't call me MR. again. Who told you about this place? Who told you about me and my operation here? Bellicose began to feel uneasy. His gun wasn't with him and he was about to lie. Hopefully, it would be a believable lie. Pablo Palazzo. He is a friend of mine. Told me he had no more product left. So he told me I could come get some here. Snake Eyes looked Bellicose up and down. Pablo did? Hm. Well what's your name? Another lie for bellicose was emerging from his mouth. My friends call me Dave...Dave the Driver. The several men were still in the same room. Pistols were now being pulled out of their coats. Snake Eyes walked over to her phone and picked it up beginning to dial a number. It is strange that Pablo is out of product. I just gave him some on Monday and its what Thursday? Hmmm. Well maybe he can vouch for you. Why don't you go wait for me Mr. Dave the Driver, in the room. I'm sure my friends here would love to get to know you more. Distinct mummering could be heard in the room over. Snake Eyes was laughing. The phone call ended. Snake Eyes went into another room and grabbed some SUGAR RUSH and walked over to Bellicose. Dave the Driver. Take a seat. It seems, you go by another name as well. Bellicose? You're one of those MAH FEE UH types huh? Bellicose immediately stood up only to be shoved back into a chair with two guns aimed at his temple. He knew he was in a dangerous situation and did not know how to react. His gun was not even with him. I will tell you what. Since you want to see my product so much, why don't you try it and tell me how you like it. Snake Eyes pried the jaw of Bellicose open and placed the Sugar Rush in it. Slamming it shut again he had no choice but to consume what he just received. Now get the hell out of my sight and don't you or your little suit wearing shit heads come around here again.. Otherwise you may experience a different type of rush. The one we call, the Snake Bite. Bellicose took off from the chair and began to run out of the building. He got in his car and began to drive. He looked for his gun and realized it wasn't in the car. He remembered how he left it in his office on its desk. Suddenly, as his key turned the ignition the Sugar Rush began to settle in. He tried driving away. His vision began to double. Colors began to show that weren't originally there. It sounded as though the Music turned up on his own. What is happening?! Bellicose began to race over to the head quarters but it appeared that the streets were growing wider until he was driving into what appeared to be the head of a beast. The lights went dark. He couldnt see anything around him. Suddenly floating images began to balance in the air before him. The vividness of these images began to make him wonder was he even awake. Nothing was around him apart from those floating images. Bellicose began to scream out for help but nothing was around. Finally, what appeared to be a floating human landed on the hood of his car. The darkness around the person began to terrify him. The person began to pull the doors open and throw them to the side. Bellicose started to strike the individual claiming they were some sort of monster. Finally the Monster took off after getting struck. Bellicose began to run down the streets looking for someone to help calm this rush. He couldnt see what he was stepping on. He saw himself third person. Still floating images hung in the balance. Finally he stopped to stare at one of them. They were memories playing of when he was younger as a child. As he watched they lowered until he was IN front of the memory. He walked through the memory only into be welcomed back into that past time. Living it as if it once was. The memory he was stepping into began to play and he entered his own body again as a child. His mom, Zoey, was screaming at him for not cleaning his room again. She smacked him in the face and scolded him. Bellicose felt as though this was the day Zoey, his mother, would be murdered. In reality, was left alone that fateful day as Zoey walked out of the house and never returned. He always regretted not saying goodbye to his own mother. Bellicose looked up at Zoey. I love you mom. I'm sorry. Please don't go. PLEASSE DONT GO MOM! He began to choke up. There was a lump in his throat. Zoey screamed something about the home being clean before walking towards the door. Bellicose ran after her begging her not to leave. He knew she would meet her end. She turned towards him and told him to act his age and clean up the mess. Words did not flow out of his mouth and she slammed the door behind her. Bellicose was alone and the memory began to fade away He stood as he once was. In the street with everything dark. More memories hung in the balance. He stared at another and it began to lower. It was his dad, a former crime boss in another city. He had left us to go there. Bellicose watched as he said his final good bye to his father as well. Were these memories meant to be healing or were they all traumatic experiences being replayed over and over. How could Bellicose escape this Sugar Rush play? |
