I just remembered when I was reading some things about the old mafia.org. I remember we used to have horses where people would bet on and you'd make sum of cash by either buying horses or selling them or just the crazy odds. It was fun I got to admit and it wasn't just the new.org that put it in but it was also the last one. I think it was a big part of the game actually and in Role Playing makes sence because Mobsters did used to own horses and make a sum of cash like that as well.

Never having played .org I wouldn't really know the ins and outs of this proposed feature, but in all honesty it does sound very good. And I do agree it would definitely add to the roleplyaing sense of the game, as well as introducing a bit of healthy competition between us Wise Guys.

Sounds really good, well done, I hope it get's the proper attention that it deserves.
