Who's been watching the Beijing Olympics?  I know I have.  Lots of drama in Beijing.  First off, there's the whole covid thing going on there.  Athletes are living in what is dubbed "the bubble".   Then there is the whole thing about not being able to express your true feelings while in China as they have all been warned.  Several countries have boycotted them by not sending government officials there.  

Now comes the figure ice skating scandal, Russian skater Kamila Valieva failed a drug test but they are still allowing her to participate but that if she wins, there will be no podium ceremony for those athletes.  Since she was in the team event and they placed in that, no one has received their medals yet.

She then performs in the individual event and the poor thing just self destructs.  All that pressure and being under the spot light was just to much for that very young 15 year old.

Just so much drama there in China.

I didn't really watched them for difference in time lol, but yeah I followed them.

I see what you mean with the drama, well China is not a so nice country, isn't it?

As for the russian skater, it's quite sad what happened, but after that old drug test came out, I don't think the thing was handled too badly, it made sense allowing her to participate, and checking her again, if I did understood right that choice. Yeah quite sad her breakdown, I'm not sure the problem it's much about the age, many older people would have been still in too much pressure, a lot of athletes struggled with pressure and expectations of the Olympics.
