Tinseltown Tables

It was a casual evening that dared stray far from the ordinary when the first ad-break sliced through the center of the Fibber McGee and Molly show. "Damnit..." you mumbled under your breath waiting for whatever "modern wonder" was to be imprinted on your consumer brain now.

A man's voice crackled its way through the radio, was it familiar perhaps?

"..... We here at Tinseltown Tables are proud to announce the grand opening of our brand new location in Los Angeles! Feeling cheeky? Come on down and try your luck at one of our many games we offer! Whatever SUITS your fancy! Leave the kids at the slot machines while you and the Mrs. have a drink over at the roulette table! Cards more your thing?

 NO PROBLEM AT ALL! Just grab a scotch and try your hand at blackjack."

"For the competitive types we have Texas Hold Em' games running all the time! But for you high rollers out there this Friday the 5th at 01:00 we will be hosting a ten seat game with a $2,500,000 buy in! Make sure you come and join in on the fun while seats last!"

Vladimir had heard over the local radio broadcast of the new Poker Tables setting up. SammySoul and him had been in the middle of construction plans, and fund raising for what seemed weeks. The final payoff of running a casino was finally here and they wanted to do it big. The radio advertisement was just the beginning of drawing folks to the Tinseltown Tables. Vlad stepped out into the masses to make an announcement for the casino's first Poker Tournament.

"Comrades, its quite a site to see a Casino in the beautiful city of Los Angeles. The beaches, the pretty women, and now the tables over at Tinseltown are what attracts everyone to the West Coast. As I'll be the acting manager during the game, I am offering one of my Corrupted Drug Agents from the FBN to the sole winner of the tournament. This particular one has double the normal amount of cocaine."

The few people in the small crowd around him started to show even more interest after the announcement of an award to the first place winner of the Poker Tournament.

"Good luck to all comrades and I'll see you Friday night."

Vladimir stumbled out of his Godfather's headquarters. He was barely awake after he had taken a short nap. He just came out to express his gratitude to those who played last night.

"Thank you everyone for showing up and playing last night. It wasn't a very big game, but it was a fun game. Hopefully in the near future, SammySoul and I will be able to run a larger tournament. In the mean time we do have our cash table open: Tinseltown Golden Table. If anyone needs any tables set up, please contact one of us and we'll ensure your request is filled. Vlad entered back into the large building, with outside security. He needed to finish his snooze.
