Do yourself a favour and listen to this song - right to the end. Could anyone other than Anton Newcombe pull off incorporating the signature chorus parts of Sympathy for the Devil AND Hey Jude into one glorious elongated outro? First time I ever heard this song was at a BJM gig in Oslo in 2012. I was astounded. Alas, it's no longer played live because of a copyright dispute. God bless Boardwalk Empire for getting me into BJM. |

I do fancy this song. And I agree no point in listening to this until you take it to the end. I have no doubt hearing this live was astounding. This song was definitely crafted from a personal experience. You can hear and feel the emotion it evokes. Do you think an imbecile has the ability to fancy great music? |

Constipated - I have difficulty in accepting that those beholden to toilet humour can appreciate the cultural homage of a high-brow artist, but then again, Pure Shores by All Saints is one of my favourite songs. Art is whatever the artist says is art. My work on the Streets is tabloid in nature. What moves an individual cannot often be recreated by that individual. I'm not even entirely sure what the song is about. It's almost a celebration of a dysfunctional relationship, ending in a pastiche of psychadelia. The man who wrote that song is capable of creating incredible, transcendal art and he's also capable of a range of extremely unpleasant antics. |

Having watched Lucifer on Netflix, I have more sympathy for the devil. But i suspect that it wasn't a documentary, so i probably shouldn't base my views of teh devil on that. |

In all honesty Weber, the Devil just had a bad publicist. If yo read the Bible, God is the cause of all strife, not satan. Sure apparently he's the tempter, there to lure you to the darkside, but it was God that created that Darkside, not the devil.
Songs not bad though Stephen, not my usual fayre though |
