After attending to her mother's funeral, Skyy walks up to the middle of one of the most crowded streets, with a letter on her hands. She steps on a soapbox and adresses the good people:

"Good afternoon everyone. I am sure some of you might be surprised, saddened or angered from the recent events, war and the death/actions of my mother, Roya." She looks around and see some friendly faces amongst the crowd. She continues "I feel like i owe an explanation, at least to those who cared about my mom. I will now read to you a letter that she left me before she died."

Skyy coughs and starts reading:

"My dear daughter and friends,

Macarena have lied to me. She was my friend, even when lots of trustworthy friends of mine came to me and warned not to trust her. I never listened to it because we always had fun together and she seemed truthful. After my Godfather Dagda was murdered, Macarena offered me a home which i gadly and happily accepted, as we were always very close.

In 13th February, i was seeing too much people on the streets and i suspected something bad was gonna happen, so i ran to Macarena and said 'There is too much people here today, i think war is coming', she said that everything was okay and i believed it. So i went home to sleep and when i woke up on 14th february, i only woke up to have a terrible day, because my trusted and good friend Macarena, along with other NY people such as Paradise and others which i don't care to remember, butchered most of my close friends, including Geralt (Goku's kin), Qui Gon Jinn, Rorschach and BettyWhite.

I was so shocked and lost that i couldn't feel anger right away, just disappointment and regret for not listening to my friends before, that Macarena was manipulative and somewhat treacherous. I asked her what happened and her exact words were:

 'I dont know why goku was so obsessed, but he demanded that Luis (Patangeli) and Mojito shoot me and most of the Bronx. That didn't go over well. I just wish he had calmed down... could've been okay with all of us, Luis was gonna try to smooth things but then they started making demands... Goku was only a member, not a city head'.

As a friend, i expected at least to not be treated like a fool, if she would've told me the truth, perhaps i could've found in my heart to forgive and try to see that's just the way things are in this world of ours. But you know me, my daughter, and you know how i hate being lied to and treated as a naive child. So with all the pain in my heart, i swallowed my rage and decided to pretend everything was good and okay and waited for the time we could have our justice. Because that's what it is. Justice. And i will not lie now, me and Macarena had lots of fun and even some meaningful talks, even after she did what she did. I decided that the safest thing to do, was just try to forget what happened in the meantime and bury it very deep in my soul, otherwise people would surely noticed how angry and upset i was, since it's so hard for me to not say what i think. My close friends know i'm an impulsive and straightforward person, specially when i drink, which is A LOT. So it was very, very hard and even harder on those drunken moments.

But unfortunately, for justice to be made, i had to commit the same despicable act that Macarena has done to me. Which is lying. I pretended that i wasn't angry, i pretended that everything was okay and this is another way of lying. For that i am sorry. I pray that you never have to do such thing, because it's something that will eat you alive and inflict pain to you and others. I cannot begin to say how it pained me.

Then the time to let the rage come back to the surface arrived, and i sticked with my friends and with justice. I decided to do what i think was right. I believe deeply that my loyalty is well placed and i have a clean conscience about what i did. Macarena and i could have been very good friends in another life, but in this world of ours where she feels the need to lie and deceive, i find it very difficult. So i helped Dominick yes, and i would do it over and over again, although i would not pretend again, because it made me feel bad. Please know, that this was my decision only, as nobody asked me to do that. 

And that's it, my daughter... Don't be embarrassed and make me proud. Live with honor, don't lie. And please, make this letter public, my colleagues and friends deserve to know why i made those decisions. Then, they can judge for themselves.
With pain, love and a bit of relief for finally feeling free,
Roya."

The lord, Wheeler, despite being deep within his own mourning, listens to the young woman who reads from her mothers words. He had seen her mother around, as the world of the mafia is small. He hadn’t however seen her at any of his sermons. Perhaps he might guide the daughter into the way of his light.

“My Child. What your mother has done, was, in its own way, just. Honourable. I say this despite the hurt that she has, however indirectly, caused to my own friends, my own family and my own home city. Whilst i may not approve of what your mother has done, mostly due to the pain and hardship inflicted upon my people, or what Dominick, that sharp eyed assassin has done and yes, continues to do, i understand both of your reasonings behind it. I too, given the chance, would avenge Bacon should he fall. I would avenge Lincoln Lawyer who sadly fell to this uprising. I would avenge all of those who have fallen at your friends hands.

Whilst it is not my place to condone what your mother and her friends have done, and in this life, that i might even be incapable of forgiving them, know at least, for however little it is worth, that i forgive you as i will forgive all of their children. And I pray that in time, others who have been worse hurt than I by your mothers betrayal towards them might come to do the same. Life is too short to hold hate in your heart.

Go in peace my Child.”

I'm sorry Roya was lied to... but not by Macarena. It's a shame that Roya allowed herself to be manipulated by offspring of Goku, with their deep rooted anger and habit for trying to split friends when he doesn't get his way.

Roya may have been upset that her friends died. Macarena understood that, and gave her a chance despite being told to kill her by several people. He thought she was his friend, but alas, she was on a different path.

I could share all the letters of that day Squirrelly-Dan retired, but it's not worth it. I will give a few small samples, but if you were to ask anyone involved, every single word Macarena told Roya was fact. I feel sorry that you and Roya were brought into this, and Macarena intentionally tried to keep you out of that fight because she knew how dark Goku and his cohorts could get with things.

It was nice talking. It's really unfortunate, but Macarena did her best to be her friend and to be honest with Roya. Roya made a clear decision though to be dishonest. Perhaps she had already made that decision all along anyway given the pressure she was under, and this was just a weak excuse at justification. Who knows.

Today marks a very tragic day here in New York and one that I must say I have not enjoyed being apart of or witness to. As acting godfather of New York, I had to make a call today to secure myself and those I deem friends around me, there had been credible threats given out from multiple sources and well, it's hard to make any decision really.

I assure you though that the bloodshed will cease from here on out in New York, too many people have lost their lives today and we just need to pickup the pieces and move forward.

When Roya began fostering a friendship with your mother-man Dagda did indeed warn her that you were untrustworthy and manipulative, I won't deny that. But he didn't try to interfere, she's a big girl capable of making her own decisions. He put her under no pressure to betray you - that was her decision, and you cemented it when you manipulated people he trusted and tried to place the blame on me. 

I'll once again state that Geralt never demanded anyone's head. He never gave them orders - he gave them advice. They had been discussing recent events and possible outcomes for several days and it appeared that they all - Geralt, Luis, and mojito - agreed that you were a danger and did not belong with NY. They had already discussed killing you and your cohorts before drunky retired, hell even before Dagda died. Naturally, Geralt maintained this opinion after Dan retired, and expected they did as well, and clearly he was wrong. Whether you had already hooked them long before or if they just thought siding with you would be easier than siding with the old regime, I'm unsure. Either way they paid the price for their treachery.

I've seen the things you've said to Roya that were lies. You lied directly to her face the very night Dagda died, and again after Dan. I'd post them, but I'm not some creepy dude that saves conversations from months or even years ago for manipulative intentions down the road.

You keep saying my line have anger or obsession and all that but really, I'm just one of the few who sees you for who you really are. Toast and Dagda allowed you and people close to you to live for a very long time against our better judgement. We tried to let bygones be bygones. Even after they died Geralt at first had no ill will towards you and yours. He came back to New York at Dan's request to help him rebuild. But it became pretty obvious from conversations with Dan that you guys still held the old grudges, not vice versa.

I'm gonna flounce off now, but I should say I got a little chuckle from you calling me "dark," knowing some of the things you've said about and done to women around here. I must truly be big and bad.

Jay, I really didn't plan on involving myself in any of this ridiculous drama but I truly would like to know what drugs you are on and where I can get some. Just to get your story straight though so I can keep up with your bullshit... you think the fact that your grandfather was killed was because Macarena had his 'hooks' in my father and the rest of NY? Do you really think this or was that just the easiest way for you to drum up support to come after him? It's no secret to anyone that you hate him with a passion.
Your family has been involved in this business for long enough that you should have known when you came to close friends my father his asking for his right hand to be killed that his reaction would be that you needed to die before you did something stupid. Geralt was not even a member of the upper structure of NY, his father was. The past month has only proved him correct really, the fact that this is still an ongoing issue is ridiculous. Move on.
Your father over-stepped and started calling for the heads of several members of the Upper Structure of NY. Deny it all you want or come up with conspiracy theories but that's why he died and that was the only reason. 

While I have not exactly cared to much for my father's name being drug around in the mud, I felt like I should make a statement from his journal that he left me. 

Luis was not a complicated man by any means and when it came down to New York and what was going on, hell he had no care. He sat under the man he had more then respected since finding his way to this life, he was more then loyal to those above him for quite a long time, but to come out here and say he was a puppet is just false.

I'm not sure if it was stated here or elsewhere but he did get upset with Macarena being authed. He did voice those complaints, and at the end of it all was more then willing to step down.. actually, told Dan who was still taking orders from the son of the previous Godfather who was slain in New York that he felt out of everyone in New York, he should have been given the district. What transpired after that was not what he had expected. Upon leaving for the old country, his new boss and someone Luis MORE then applied his loyalty to had retired, leaving him stuck in the middle of drama that apparently made his predecessor just before him retire.. so, yes, Luis took a step up and tried to make sense of everything and the drama that had been apparently ongoing behind his back (remember he was just a captain for months, one who wasn't even brought in on wars for some reason but that's another story.)

Luis had friends on both side of the spectrum, and ultimately, was being pressured to make a decision one way or another or his city was going to turn up in arms against one another. Maybe the decision made wasn't the right one, but someone had to make it and sadly it fell upon his lap.

That's about all I have to say about that. While, I held my loyalty to the man who authed me, once he was gone I needed to make decisions for myself and those around me and the city as a whole to keep it alive.. that was all that transpired. There was no backdoor deals, no conspiracy to take over New York, Luis made a decision on his own collection of what was going on and ultimately died for it.

Fluffiest had been hiding and bathing himself in the background hearing to the people speak whom he knew and youngsters that he did not, he flicked his ears when one of them started to accuse his late godmother of lying. I mean he knew that all big dumb humans did stupid stuff, but in the end they all ended up dead like his previous human owner. You dumb dumbs only have 1 life, if Fluffiest had only 1 he'd be much more cautious but then again, he was much better at catching prey and avoid become prey himself.

Yet the stories told did have to do with his previous human owner and he felt he had to chip in, for the events portrayed above were out of shape and needed some correct.

So the claim here is that the murder of Rorschach, Bettywhite and Geralt was done under the direct influence and manipulation of Macarena and nobody else in the right mind would have killed those 3 people. Hmm interesting

Le-Semois had been a only a little man when the late godfather Squirrelly-Dan asked him to join his operations and help him shape it into a well-oiled machine. Something the youngster did, despite being very saddened by his father who had been away from home 24/7 building a good life for the youngster to enjoy its comforts. Work he did in the end, for the betterment of the operations of Squirrelly, later on he also worked on the improvement of all organized crime in Manhattan sticking close to the godfather and not reaching for individual status and fame. He trusted the judgement of his friend and followed orders without any attempts or influence on which way those went. When an external force shot half of NY, 3 leaders including the godfather chairman it was his boss who took reigns of the city with the blessing of all established leaders left in the city. Yet the fight was ongoing and in order to be best equipped to fight their attackers Squirrelly asked Le-Semois to set up his operations mid war. After the war it was agreed this was the desired future organization as well and he was given the job to build the Bronx into a sturdy fortress to support and protect the godfather chairman. Le-Semois had picked his support and would not tolerate anyone trying to undermine the godfather chairman's position for he had only 1 loyalty, to the city and chairman of NY.

Reports came in as well as conversations between the godfather chairman and Le-Semois that others in NY were questioning the loyalty of some people under Le-Semois but after many hours and beers these questions were answered and the godfather chairman sighed and said, i wish people like you and me were more around who don't bitch, moan and just straight up want to build a better place. Le-Semois agreed and again instilled to his people that even in the event of his death it was his unconditional wish that the life of Squirrelly-Dan was his paramount desire and his lineage would never falter squirelly-Dan's.

Then fate struck, with le-semois shot in an unfortunate way, hurting the city of New York with the involvement of some that said to be loyal to it. Not quickly after squirelly-dan decided he had seen enough and left his position without direction or a successor appointed. In this chaos Rorschach took it up to establish a new HQ without discussion or consent of all remaining leaders sowing further discord and distrust among the leaders of NY. Those then took the decision to shoot rorschach and people loyal to him.

As a reaction another external group with ties to Geralt decided to shoot many respectable people with the sole purpose of killing and upsetting the established order, showing how Geralt had held ties outside the city which did not align with the interest of those within being loyal to Squirrelly.

Now Roya had been told things as we can see explained above, yet one does wonder, who should we believe, the line of Geralt or the 'slimefather' as the late Macarena has been dubbed by some. Personally i think loyalty stays within your city and your actions should be to support your godfather chairman, not put him in impossible situations knowing his character well and the dilemmas he struggles with. But then again i'm just a little kitty, what do i know of the affairs of men???

In this chaos Rorschach took it up to establish a new HQ without discussion or consent of all remaining leaders sowing further discord and distrust among the leaders of NY.

Whilst essentially true, Rorschach set up as a result of sending Squirrelly-Dan's entire organisation's to 3 NY leaders and watching for ~90 minutes as the only member of Dan's crew to be sent an invite was Paradise (who Rorschach updated with his intentions and communicated his thanks for her assistance with Dan's crew, regardless of her having joined another crew). It took about 10 minutes for Rorsachach's HQ to reach half of its 10 man capacity, such was the want for safety.

Rorschach also communicated with LuisPatangeli - acting GFC at the time - via private telegram, to agree the move, and had also been advised by Mojito (LP's RHM) that he should be the one to ensure the survival of Dan's crew and to set up as soon as possible.

Furthermore, Rorschach repeatedly assured every NY leader that it was a temporary move to ensure the safety of Dan's crew and he would be stepping down as soon as every member of Dan's crew was safe. Rorschach had also plastered that same information to the front door of his unfortified HQ, under the crew name "Temp Crew".

Lastly, there was also this mail that had been sent out to the New York structure:

You're right, it is petty, and I'm sure you'll continue to do it behind closed doors as you usually do. Perhaps you're implying that I've attacked you personally somewhere, but I don't see where I did so? Because I mentioned I see you for who you really are? That's not an attack, that's just facts.

For me, there was no strategy here, there is no lie, only the truth. I never once had to pressure Roya for anything, because she was loyal to me beyond any doubts. Secondly, I set up in Brooklyn. Under the GFC of the city following a discussion by private telegram messenger. What the 'side' districts think is almost entirely immaterial, otherwise your posturing about what Squirrelly-Dan's wishes were regarding Spike is completely irrelevant.

Furthermore, you imply I put forth less dedication and hard work than other CLs in the city? Care to elucidate? Cos at the time of my father's death, I'd been a RHM to two GFCs, created a (basic yet functional) SR doc for the whole of NY, set up an HQ to catch the crew left on the streets following the retiral of NY's GFC (at great personal danger to myself) and was idling around the 11th taper slot as best I could, so... not exactly lacking in dedication or hard work really, right?

Rez was walking along the streets sidewalk and had noticed a large group gathering at the interaction ahead of him. Seeing that he decidedly headed in their direction. 

After pausing momentarily to listen to the discussion, apparently the city of New York had quite the shindig of a private party over the course of the past few months. Rez had no idea there was such excitement and entertainment to be found in the city that never sleeps. 

Grabbing a fresh cup of coffee from the street vendor, the Russian gangster proceeded to stand idly against the brick walls adjacent to the crowd. He was close enough to the alleyway anyways and had the advantage of gawking under the cover of shadows as to not arouse suspicion from City Hall or whomever might be lurking in the darkness. 

I don't think anyone thinks Le-Semois had the power to make three Godfather's do anything. I think you might actually struggle to find people who believed him capable of tying his own shoelaces because throughout his life Le-Semois displayed a level of intellect similar to that of a tub of bathwater, which at least probably explains Macarena's fascination with him.

This was actually never proved to be inaccurate at all, and while I'm usually content to let the shit slinging proceed unabated from a distance I think it's important to throw in some context as to precisely why it was assumed that Rorschach and his friends were the most likely suspect of leaking the war.  Of course, this will in all likelihood end up in the annals of history as something that will remain unconfirmed.  However, there are several things surrounding this situation that can be confirmed.

So, in the spirit of filling in the blanks, let's unpack a few things about that day.

1) The knowledge of Philadelphia's involvement in the war was extremely limited and was known only to very, very few.  In Dan giving Rorschach a heads up on the Chicago takedown, our involvement was never mentioned.  Precisely three individuals in Philadelphia knew of the plan involving Chicago; Myself, Belle, and Humpty, all of whom had targets.

2) The agreement to remove Chicago was made by a very small group, of whom, an even smaller amount saw the end product of a war sheet. There was no need for a large amount of bodies on this due to Chicago's size. Despite not needing his gun, Dan felt he owed Rorschach, his right hand man, a heads up, and he was informed of this significantly later than the rest of the participants in this war, having been informed approximately 3 hours before we were due to strike.

3) Approximately an hour and 45 minutes after Rorschach was informed of the war, and with Philadelphia's involvement of this war not disclosed to him, Eragon, the son of the late Godfather Qui-Gon-Jinn, approached Belle offering shot protection along with the following messages:

E: You in the know?
B: What know?!
E: I think Chicago is dying at 18:00 game world time.

While not definitive, this seeming lack of knowledge about Philadelphia's involvement, Rorschach's friendliness and ties with the bloodlines of Eragon, Dagda, Sisphyus - whose bloodline has a close relationship with Flowah's - et al, combined with two pieces of information from the late Flowah paint a picture that the information that was disseminated towards her and Eragon  -- someone who would have no logistical reason to be informed of the upcoming war by anyone in a relevant capacity from Philadelphia, New York or Detroit - for the purpose of clearing bodies or protecting them --  did not include Philadelphia's involvement, and the information that Flowah and Eragon received seemed to have only come at a time after Rorschach was informed.

Spaceman pulls out two police statements.

Feb 11, 17:56:13     You were transferred 1.00 credits by an anonymous benefactor. The note "NY coming for CH soon, be ready." was included.

Contrasting the individuals who had 24 hours of advance knowledge of this operation, of which there were incredibly few, combined with the 3 hours of advance notice that Rorschach had, combined with the late Flowah's choice of wording in her mass mail that she received these warnings "this evening",  her lack of mentioning Philadelphia, and finally combined with a very hasty response to defend her city - a response that does not a paint a picture of someone who had received a slow simmering, early leak that would have afforded her adequate time to prepare for a long conflict - is it really any wonder why people had doubts as to Rorschach's truthfulness?

In the aftermath of this operation, Eragon was asked directly by Belle who disseminated this information to him, and, with no surprise, refused to divulge that information.

Ultimately, with the result of that leak, Le-Semois lost their life in that conflict.  As an observer looking from Philadelphia, Semois appeared to have a voice at the table - along with his right hand at the time, Macarena - that was very clearly unwelcome by some of Squirrelly Dan's other advisors.  This doesn't even take into account the actions of Sinaya, who felt it appropriate to intervene in an internal city conflict despite coming to Philadelphia for a fresh start because "I don't really know anyone in NY anymore", or Diogenis, or, later, Dominick - all ultimately serving as agents for anything but Philadelphia, a city that badly needed help rebuilding, and whom we were eager to work with due to their knowledge in navigating this life of ours.

Putting some common sense to use with all these factors in mind paints a pretty clear picture to me of what occurred that day, not that Rorschach necessarily leaked the information directly to Flowah herself, but those he works with did.  In any case, definitive proof will likely never be forthcoming. In an instance like this, though, it's hardly needed.
