Finishing his beer, in a bar, and singing a song as he goes, our hero, John_Fareham approach a crowd and begins to talk... "Friends, we are on the cusp of conflict. Has Dominick entered into negotiations aimed at resolving his issues? I don't know, but we can assume not. Or at least, we will assume not, for the sake of this conversation. Dominick took a stand, and make his choices. Or he made a stand and took his chance. Or both. Or neither. But by crikey, he made his impact felt. And once those he wounded recovered from their injuries are are capable of firing a gun, what can we expect? The odds are not good for Dominick. But is it a done deal? Dominick is nothing if not brave, and capable. What deals has he struck? And what of the fence-sitters? What will they do? For my part, I am itching to be part of the action. This speech isn't about me, but for too long, my lineage has faced criticism for ineffectual action, blowing my own trumpet, and generally being all talk and no trousers. Well, I intend to put some trousers on, and they will be camouflage and they will be filled with smoking guns. Because the infamy associated with my lineage will be replaced with famy. Or fame. My role will not be well known, but neither will it be unknown. My actions with be neither decisive, or will they be effective, but they will be what they will be. I have been given a chance at redemption, and it is up to me to make good on that. And I will. I am willing to lay down my life for the following: My CL My district My City This is my oath. My bond. I swear to do my duty, and to uphold law. And speaking of The Law, I refer to an old blues song that discusses war.
The man being sung about is possibly Dominick. Possibly his enemies. Possibly all of us. But it isn't me. You can read my mind. By you, I mean all of you. The old blues song continues:
This could be a call to Dominick - a chance to avoid war and conflict. What is your analysis of this old blues song? |

A good friend in the FBN said this to me; "Word on the street is that someone wants you dead with the quickness." $175k to kill me. I am bloody insulted. But I need more cash in my tip jar. Give me it |
