MASH will forever go down as one of the all time greatest theme songs to ever grace the first of a show. Just hearing the word MASH and someonehow I'm humming along over here. I think that is a great intro into the discussion. 

I would also like to throw in there Game of Thrones. I know it was hugely popular and all, but that score is incredible and gets you in the mood for a well told story (save for the last couple of season) to come. I think it will always be one of my favorite "theme" songs. 

One of my favorite theme songs is Supernatural. Have to say as a kid, the Jetsons was great, and Gummie Bears, they are very catchy.

Succession and Twin Peaks theme songs/intros are two shows I'll never skip because they both capture the show so well and also set the mood.  I'd put The Sopranos up there as well.

Sailor Moon English theme song was amazing.  Also fond of 1990's batman series theme.  DS9 has a great, very beautiful theme song.  I think as of late Stranger Things had a really good theme song. 

Oh there are tons of good songs that are catchy, have good jingles and grab your attention.

But let's go with Dukes of Hazzard

The theme to "The Greatest American Hero", which I believe is called "Believe it or Not". Many of you probably know the song by Joey Scarborough and had no idea it actually came from a shitty, short-lived tv series in the 1980's.  Actually, it wasn't that bad of a show, from a little kid's perspective.

I like the theme song to Dallas, and the Godfather.   I used to have the Godfather as my ring tone back in the day.  

More than just the music, but the opening sequence to the Dexter series I think is one of the best I've seen.     As far as the just the music, I'd have to go with Fresh Prince.

I'll have to go with any of the CSI themes (The Who, bay-bay!) Law & Order themes (That "Dun-Dun" is forever classic) NCIS, Sherlock, Elementary, Hannibal and Dexter. There is too many for me to choose from.
