I'm a little confused, I would have assumed as the only players revived are those that died due shots that should have failed then only BG's that were killed after the players died would have been restored.

I mean what's the difference between all the successful BG's shot taken & the successful player kills?

I mean it seems only fair that either all legitimately successful shots are reversed or none.
