| Truly Alone | Started by: Ally on Mar 27, '22 11:53 |
The tension between the two was so high, that the man sitting across from Ally had grown uncomfortable under her threatening stare. She was pissed that her night got interrupted by a certain individual who refused to pay her the money he had promised. The story is that, Ally, was known around the streets as the girl who always wanted to help people, whether it was related to money or professional development. She had strong connections in every industry imaginable, which she owed it to her parents. After their tragic deaths as a consequence of thinking they could outsmart the mafia, Ally took over the family business and started to make her bones in the city of Los Angeles with no one to help her. When she grew success and fame in the underground world, there was one thing that never changed. Ally was always alone. She had everything... but nothing at the same time. What kind of life was that? At night, she would stare up at the ceiling thinking what would her life be now if her parents were still alive. Maybe attending a prestigious college or building a family. However, being alone is all she never knew. Losing parents at a young age... and on top of that no one wanted to be friends with a spoilt brat. The only good thing that came out of that though was her determination. When she wanted something, she would do everything to get it. Over time, her love for money grew. Ally had many top clients on her list. She was a business and career consultant, ready to take on lots of people. That was her main hustle. On the side, she was assisting some people in the mob world. "When are you gonna wise up and talk to Ally?" They would say. People would come to her when they needed help looking for a job, money or simply a family to commit to. In the underground world, drugs and strong relationships was the currency. Money was just the added bonus, which Ally had plenty of. Now, this man who was sitting in front of her, had promised to repay the $10M loan she provided to him for a business venture he had proposed. Ally had great hopes for the man and his idea was very believable. In hindsight, Ally should've done a second background check on the man. He was good with his words, she could give him that. "I like you, okay? So don't ever fuck me like this again. No more games. You have 7 days to repay back the loan. Now get out of my office." Ally watched as her security guards walked him out, before leaning back into her office chair and twirling around to look at the ocean view through her window. She took a deep breath in and out, then whispered silently to herself.... "I love my job, I love my job"... |
