No sooner had Wheeler finished processing the loss of his friend and boss Bacon, did he have to set up his own headquarters. Where better to do so than in his own church? And so, The Black Hand is reborn, in a church of white marble and black wood. The sky outside was a terrifying shade of black as, standing upon the Dais, Wheeler once again addresses his flock.

“My Children. We have suffered great loss, and for Bacon we mourn. But from the ashes of death, there has risen new life. The Church of Wheeler now houses La Mano Nera, The Black Hand. The dread Lord, Wheeler, has seen this. And it is good.”

As Wheeler speaks, the dark clouds burst, rain showers down with great force and lightning flashes, striking the steeple of the church. And suddenly, there above the dais, on the back wall of the church dedicated to him, the silhouette of a hand as black as ink appears. Staining the White marble as black as coal.

As the hand seems to solidify, warping reality, a whisper is heard carried on the howling wind. It seems to say… “LateDibs”.
