What would you do for Klondike? Started by: SilentAssassin on Apr 02, '22 00:04
At work a fellow bought fudge fingers to share with us. When he went to take a few himself I pretended to hide them and he raised the back of his hand at me. Lol. So o said "Jesus jim! If you are gonna backhand me over fudge fingers..what would you do for a Klondike bar.

So my question dare I ask is

What would you do for a Klondike bar

That was a good comeback at him.  I like that.

I really wouldn't do a whole lot for one cause I can afford them and have them in my freezer.  But my favorite ones are Heath and Mint Chocolate Chip.  :)

I'll be damned if a Klondike bar doesn't sound amazing right about now. Thanks a lot for that one!

I'd give someone five credits for one. Any takers?

Boo, didn't think so.

Klondike bars are amazing. It's been far too long since I've had one. I'm going to have Signora SofiaAccardo add that to grocery list. The Reese's one's are alright, but I am rather partial for the original. Just something about that soft vanilla ice cream.

What would I do for a klondike Bar you ask?  Get my butt up and drive to the store and buy a box of 6 and go home and eat them one per day.

I like the Heath and Reese's.

Well as tasty as them bars can be, I wouldn’t do anything criminal to aquire one as they do on the comercials. The ice cream sandwich must be made out of the rarest element to get me to do anything too crazy. 24 to life for an ice cream sandwich isn’t much of a trade at all. But back to the question at hand, what I would do for a Klondike is what I always do. Get up go out and buy one if I feel inclined.

There are so many factors to consider. First of all, what kind of Klondike bar are we talking about here? I'd be much more inclined to do something asinine for a Heath Bar-covered Klondike than, say, the traditional Klondike.  Also, what is my physical condition? Am I parched? Have I been ingesting any appetite-stimulating substances? Do I just want a fucking Klondike bar like nobody's business?  I guess I would give an orangutan a rim job.

All I had to do for this one (besides work for the cash that paid for it) is say yes I do want one to SofiaAccardo when she asked if I wanted it.

Thank god I said yes. These are better than I remember. In the freezer because of this thread, lol.

Report Post Tip

Nothing because I do not like them.

Actually, I don't think I've ever had one. I always assumed they were minty and wasn't a huge fan of mint ice cream as a kid so I never bothered. I'd rather have a nice choco taco from the ice cream truck.

Report Post Tip

Hmm.  I'd create a 50 credit code to give to BrunoAccardo to claim within 2 minutes 7 seconds or nahh (since His break time sneakily coincides with this post).

I'd probably just go to the store and make a special trip for more klondike bars... especially since He ate all His and I have one left.

Original for Bruno and Mint Chocolate Chip for me!

Absolutely nothing Chocolate is actually green until  they add red dye to it.
Red dye is made with petroleum, the same thing they make jet fuel, asphalt, and  and wax out of.

Where did you learn that?

I've seen loads of "Making chocolate from scratch" things such as: https://www.reddit.com/r/Damnthatsinteresting/comments/le38zh/making_chocolate_from_scratch/

And looks pretty brown to me

Report Post Tip

Terrah are you sure? :P

Isn't natural Chocolate reddish/brown? And maybe it gets darker by baking it, but no red dye lol. And also about red dye... it depends, some are made from hydrocarbons, but most used in edible stuff comes from natural resources.

My great grandfather actually designed his own chocolate for his 1968 Easter Celebration. After a few months of testing he went to get a patent on the new chocolate. After the paperwork was turned in, about 3 weeks later, 4 men in bunny suits and Easter baskets appeared at his door and asked to see the new chocolate.

He took them to his kitchen and the proceeded to remove the chocolate from the fridge. They took his fridge and even his sugar. When they left they said this:

"If you ever do this again we won't be held accountable to what might hoppen to you."

He never celebrated Easter again after that day.

I hoped they slapped him and said, "Hippity hoppity, this is now my property." Dr_KennethNoisewater

isnt chocolate derived from cocoa which is a plant and there fore is healthy cause it is considered a salad? :P

I would not do much for a Klondike Bar, but maybe if I could go back in time and start selling them during the Klondike gold rush that may be a fun venture.

Grace I did a  research paper on it for College a few years ago.  Would you like me to look in my archives and see if I can find it?

Report Post Tip

And yes Spyro I am sure. As I told Grace I did a research paper on it a few years ago for college.

Since you  people have to tear me down at every chance you get, I will dig it up. And you can see for yourself.
