Reminiscing of his past life in crime and all its quirks that came with the life as a gangster.. always having to look over your shoulder, dealing with authority, and roughing up street thugs.. He thought further and further and couldn't help feel that there's something about it he missed. Stepping down as a gangster meant gaining new responsibilities in life and living life less on the edge, but worst of all it meant leaving his brothers behind. Leaving his brothers was always his biggest regret about leaving but to proceed with getting back into business in that world would be a great task. Surely the old ways have changed and all new people would be running the show. After so much time has passed getting back in touch with his old contacts would be next to impossible.


With a hint of uncertainty he decided to take a leap of faith and make a move on the streets in hopes to get noticed. He came up with a plan to do a robbery at the local gas station. After sitting on his sofa carefully going over every scenario and doing a lot of careful planning he grabbed his old cold .45 out from his dresser held it in front of his eyes, cocked it, and tucked it in his belt under his white dress shirt. He put on his black coat and fedora then hopped in his black Cadillac.  After pulling up to the gas station an overwhelming feeling of fear came over him. After sitting in his car in the gas station parking lot for a few minutes he pulls himself together, gets out of his car, and calmly walks towards the gas station entrance. When he entered the gas station he quickly noticed he's the only customer in the store and decides to quickly make his move. With his head down and black fedora covering his eyes he walks towards the clerk. The clerk says Hello sir, how are you today? Godrick quickly draws his colt .45 that was tucked in his belt with his right hand aims it at the gas clerk says Put the money in the bag and I won't shoot! while holding a bag in his left hand. The gas clerk extremely nervous starts frantically grabbing cash out of the register and shoving into the bag. After the cash register is near emptied Godrick grabs the bag then takes off running out of the gas station jumps in his car and speeds off. As he's leaving the gas station parking lot he gets an over whelming amount of adrenalin, The same exhilarating feeling he use to get back in the day.


Later that day Godrick decides to celebrate his success and heads to the speakeasy that always has his favorite scotch and free peanuts to munch on. Godrick enters the bar walks up to bartender sits down and says One scotch on rocks please! The bartender walks over to Godrick and pours the drink. Godrick holding his drink in his hand sits back and grins then takes a sip of his drink. Man how did I stay away for so long?.


The next day early in the morning Godrick sound asleep suddenly gets a KNOCK! KNOCK! at the door. Who the fuck is knocking on my door this early in the morning? Godrick mumbles to himself as he rolls over to get out of bed. Before Godrick could get out of bed the sound of tires spinning and a vehicle speeding off down the street took him to his feet immediately. Before he could look outside his front window and see who it was the vehicle was long gone. Groggy and still half asleep he decides to take a look outside. When he first opens his door and peaks out he doesn't see anything. He yawns wipes his eyes and looks again then catches a glimpse of an envelope on the his front step. He picks up the envelope and notices it says To Godrick great work! but it doesn't mention where it's from or who sent it. Curious to what might be inside he returns inside to his kitchen table sits down and opens up the envelope.

Inside is a note that reads.
