Carrying a brown paper bag, twigs hastily moved towards Beacon Park in Detroit. Gunshots were echoing in the distance, but having just survived an attempt on his life, he felt safe enough to show up in public. Finding a good vantage point near the edge of the park, he started addressing the scattered crowd.

"Some of you may be wondering what is happening today. I am here to act as a mouthpiece for the revolt, and I will now convey our motivations and intentions to the public."

Despite of the ongoing war, a sizable crowd had gathered to listen. Even a few descendants of the deceased were present. Twigs decided that, even if everyone was in a hurry, there was ample time for theatrics. With that, he picked up the brown paper bag which he had carried with him, and produced a once bright red apple, now covered in sunken, brown lesions.

"I'm certain that most are familiar with the phrase 'a few bad apples'. For those who aren't, allow me to explain. It is the idea that corruption is attributed to a few individuals rather than the entire system. I truly subscribed to that notion when I first came to Detroit and joined the life of crime. That the corruption in our world was contained only to the aptly named city, The Big Apple."

Twigs took a pause before continuing.

However, as has been proven many times lately, the rot has spread. Our world, across all cities, has seen numerous purges to individuals who were nothing but loyal to their crew leaders. We have seen our leaders refusing to organize their defenses against rogues once they realised they weren't personally in danger, thus leaving their members to fend for themselves.  We have seen many of these crew leaders stay inside their HQs for weeks on end, rarely making a presence. And we have even been made aware of the existence of purge lists maintained by New York, but carried out by everyone."

Before finishing his speech, twigs picked out a seed from the core of the rotten apple in his hand.

"All our leaders are rotten. They are the antithesis of leadership. Their actions have revealed that they don't care about their members. There aren't only a few bad apples - the entire tree is rotten. 

Today, we have begun the process of chopping down the tree. And after this war is over, we will be planting new seeds. We will create a structure which promotes individual growth and safety."

My tree is very rotten. I got gangrene on my trunk. My seeds are growing into withering plants that have never bore fruits. I am sullied like factory worker's clothes.

he took a deep breath "if you are talking about a rotten apple or tree you are clearly a rotten yourself to betray him, he gave you a chance and everything he can yet you put a bullet in his back, such a shame"

"one thing for sure, he chose to give you a chance and support, and he was wrong this time"

as he was walking away HERO repeated "a rotten apple will always be thrown in the garbage, and thats go for you..."

Its never simply about simply cutting out the rotten wood, the problem generally seems to be when one lot of rotten wood is just replaced with another piece of rotten wood.       For many of the population especially the new,  it is why there blood don't linger.

The leadership can change but the narrative rarly does, people get in a circle, and things serve that circle.   Most of the population thats either part time gangsters or there just to make up the numbers as they slumber but remain on the books find the same with most leaderhip, a good leader often becomes something few and far between.

Most of the time things come from a shared objective where a group, or due to even these shrinking/being caught before hand, are amalgamating with other groups in search of power.    Most gangsters just will look at it as a nothing changes scenario as they plod along less motivated or walk away after their latest relatives death for something that has nothing to do with them, of different bosses, same policies, same lack of ideas or rehashed old ideas, and same limit on opportunities.

As much as at stages everything changes, nothing realy changes. Different label on similar brands, and a different set of persons disliked by those at the top.

Constipated was strongly urged to via telegram he should check out an apple sale on the streets of Detroit. He locates a sign reading "Bad apples." He thinks why the fuck would I want to buy bad apples. He continues to read the details. He processes what twigs is trying to sell. The one point of sale that stood out was this "purge list". The list that has been spoken the course of many years.

twigs I will not dispute that purging exists. However, the rest of your nonsense has me thinking "Look who is calling the kettle black." This nothing but a shit show. Wash, rinse and repeat. This is not about the purge list. This is a handful of Butt sore individuals who do not know how to work with a crew nor run a crew. And you are delusional if you think the new prescription/style you are selling will prosper. What you are selling is "My way or the highway." 

I have an equal opportunity organization going on. And so did many of the other Cl's who are no longer with us and even many of their crew members did as well. Many times, misfits were given an opportunity and they fucked up. Many have the past is the past mentality because it has come to the point where we need growth. I am here for that very reason. Ahhh the old purge adage crap being spun must have been alot of it going on if those being purged managed such a first wave. Rolls eyes How about saying what it is you wanted to be the ones in charge because if there was to be any purging certain bloodlines would have never gotten where they where able to be a threat.

We had received information from our good friend who was an upper structure in Philadelphia in Voodoo's district, that New York under Fluffiest Tummy had asked Voodoo to take in the kin of Minotaur and house him for "5 or 6 weeks and then make sure he has an accident happen" because of his bloodline.

Las Vegas was initially not going to be attacked, but given that some of the resistance members came from Circle, it was assumed she would be involved unfortunately.

All in all, regardless of how people view it.. The majority of the dead leaders knew there was purging and or talks of it and decided to do nothing, because why would they risk their status over people they likely didn't know?
