14 or so hours after the first wave hit, and following an embarrassingly poor start, we've seen the incumbent CLs mount something of a fightback. This fightback has been largely hindered by the reluctance of those same people and their chums to contribute in any meaningful way, relying instead (as usual) on their members to bail them out. I've noticed it and I'm guessing you've probably noticed it too. Therefore, whilst we wait for this to drag on for as long as mundanely possible, I'm asking who has contributed to the war effort the least? Which of these high profile dorks has done the most to save their own skin at the expense of everyone else?

My first nomination for discussion as the recipient for this prestigious award is Grace. She has sat in Las Vegas literally all day, her home city, and rode out protection shot after protection shot. She was joined a couple of hours after the first wave by Jumebone, LHM to the same outfit, who has also sat in Las Vegas for ever since. Pro wackers were identified, locations discovered and what did these proud warriors do? A whole lot of dick all. A tremendous day for Circle-of-Fire, I'm sure, housing a good proportion of the attackers and then mounting such a tremendous resistance of 'hope others do the job for us'. 

I feel there is a strong case to be made for crowning our champion here, but please do let me know if you can think of anyone who is more deserving. 

Grace wasn't  sure if this sort of event would provide a crown so she brought one so those throwing the shindig wouldn't look silly. Taking the stage she gave a very polite wave and smiled at the crowd before leaning over the speaker and into the mic directly stating, "Its my day off." before giving a curtsy and heading back to Las Vegas to continue doing absolutely nothing. 

This award surely goes to SladeWilson has he shot anyone? No has he left NY no? 

This feels like a trophy that should go more to a group as a whole, like peeps who fled their cities after their leaders got wacked to try and stay alive, and immediately causing more confusion to those who haven't eaten a bullet on who is and who isn't part of the rebellion.

Or, folks who shrugged off opportunities when it was quickly becoming apparent nobody was being spared. In the battle of "who is still alive", when you're facing immediate danger and can't rely on outside support, and you have viable targets in front of your face, fuck waiting any longer or if you have a backup pro immediately; you being alive right then and there should be enough time to realize any opportunities you'll have is right there and then. Shoot the bastard and move out.

Things probably could have been handled better. I'm guilty of some BS too, but at some point you gotta just say "fuck it".

Tank Girl stood there this one phrase rolling through her thoughts over and over again. So much so she didn't hear anything else said by the speaker before her.  

This makes one wonder if those deserters can be trusted by the city they fled too. If they can't stand and fight for the city they fled what makes anyone think they will stand and fight for the city the fled to.

She shrugged and hoisted her grenade launcher back over her shoulder to see if she could intimate some people into emptying their pockets for her. 

Grace, unable to defend herself with facts of any actual effort put forth beyond self-preservation, makes a lame attempt to make light of the situation. Your family have lost a lot of members during this war. You could be helping to stem that flow. Why aren't you? Why can you find the time to respond to me immediately, but you can't find the time to shoot a proer? Pathetic. 

SladeWilson is a strong shout, Vinci. I've seen numerous unsponsored sporting invites from Mr Wilson and....that's about it. One assumes that he has taken inspiration from BigBadSpikeS's example. Now there's a man who knows how to run down a pro. An inspiration to the other shot-dodgers across the country.

Anyone who flees what they perceive to be a sinking ship will carry the stain of that with them wherever they go. How could a new leader place any faith in someone who just abandoned their previous employers? But that is part of the problem, isn't it? If the leaders and upper structure themselves are not concerned about the members, how can the members be expected to show anything more themselves? 

So it appears we have three runners up.

We’ve got SladeWilson, who allegedly shot nobody and also never left New York. Mind you, this is all alleged.

Then over here we’ve got Stefan, nominated for doing nothing in the war by MackJezzo (a well-respected and feared man in this community). Stefan was nominated for reasons that I did not understand and didn’t make a lot of sense, but let’s include him anyway as to not make MackJezzo feel bad. 

Then there’s Grace, who was overheard in a popular mafia lounge defending herself from the accusations hurled at her by Happenstance, She countered his claims that she did nothing during the war by retorting that she did in fact take a private flight out of Las Vegas, as well as a second private flight back to Las Vegas. So that’s actually TWO things she did during the war as opposed to the nothing she was accused of doing. But again mind you, these private flights are both also alleged. 

So on paper I guess SladeWilson wins the trophy. That is if you believe that Grace was taking random flights to and from LV for some inexplicable reason, which most people of course don’t. 

So I just don’t know who wins the trophy. To be honest, I’m just as happy to not carry the responsibility and burden of judging!
