WritingContest sits at his window looking down at the carnage and smiles. The obituary section of the newspaper is going to need to take out a few extra pages today. The Mafia is almost completely decimated due to the actions of a group of rogue mobsters looking to replace the current power structure. It’s been some time since our streets have seen this level of bloodshed. Months and months really. In fact, many Mafioso are already comparing this to the infamous Lincoln_Lawyer Writing Contest that saw most of its contestants slain, their deaths subsequently swept under the rug and dismissed by the contest organizers. So few survivors in fact that prizes were awarded to the deceased, accepted by their kin. WritingContest pours a glass of scotch and sits back in his leather chair to observe the bloodbath and chaos. He takes a sip and grins wickedly, feeling more powerful with each passing death, for as we all know, the WritingContest feeds off of violence. Somewhere in the distance, Lincoln_Lawyer can be heard laughing from the grave. |

| Gee thanks for that ever-so helpful response Gazza. I’m now more confused than ever. And yes I’m well aware of that contest that Lincoln held that everyone died in, but what does that have to do with this war? | |

I don't think Lincoln's contest is linked to this war, unless one or my supporters says so, in which case I'll endorse that pov. Lincoln was a good man, and his death is to be mourned. |

I've receive intel that this war is in fact due to the unlawful purging of John Fareham and can be traced directly back to the ill-fated writing competitions of old. Quite a huge turn of events, despite the want and NEED for these competitions who knows if we will ever recover from this financially or morally. |
