Grace motioned to the men who were just as dazed and bleary eyed as she herself was, and they got to work setting up tables and chairs in the streets. Snapping her fingers and waving over the children they set to work finally doing something useful rather than making a ruckus, and started laying out the linens and plates. Grace hadn't brought her fine china, as she wasn't sure if Comrades had table manners. Or if Slade Wilson did either, for that matter. So the cheap bits that had been scavenged from empty headquarters, bars long abandoned but broken into, and anywhere else the children could find them. 

Once the tables were set the delicious cakes, cookies, scones and other treats were arrayed on trays. The same for all tables, because everyone who was going to be gathering would be on the same level and none of them were better than anyone else. Except  her, Grace was infinitely better than everyone. And everyone was better than Slade Wilson. Her ego was definitely getting the best of her today, so she pushed aside her thoughts and started moving the hot pots of tea onto the tables as well. Once it was all set up she set the whiney annoying children away and then whistled to alert those who were actually being useful that they could come out from wherever they were. 

As they arrived they were greeted with a smile, "Welcome to the temporary truce Tea-Party, please enjoy a scone and a nice cuppa and rest for a few minutes because we have all the time in the world." Grace said to them before taking her own seat and checking to see if the leaves in the pot had brewed long enough. 

hearing the news of the tea party, Slade thought there was no other way he could be more useless than to sit at a table and drink some tea and eat some cake. He immediately runs from his hq to the meeting spot. He does not see anyone but Grace, and to be honest, that is slightly disappointing to him. Shaking off the look of disappointment, he walks up to her.

"Well, This was definitely a much needed break after days of doing absolutely nothing. Thank you Grace for setting up this... erm.. absolutely wonderful location and choice of decor."

Thank you Grace. In these trying times, one must appreciate all he has, and I appreciate this.

I can't say I'm completely neutral but in this setting I am. I feel this has gone on long enough, but ones resolve must not falter for anyone.

I can't imagine many others may show up though.

With a sigh Grace shook her head at Giorgio's words, "That is unfortunate, although I do know Vladimir is quite..." she pondered the word she was looking for, "Scared? in awe? Stunned?" Grace said wondering which was the right fit but then with a wave of her hand, "unimportant, he's a busy man." she said before gesturing to a seat near her. "Perhaps if no one can join you can take a few bits and snacks back to them to enjoy." she looked around and frowned, "Unfortunately I did not think to prepare any chicken nuggets for Darkening and I hope he doesn't take offense and try to kill me for the oversight." she said with a wink. 

Oh nice a banquet held for those who tucked tail and left their cities during a war for their own benefit. She looks at those who arrived before her, except the host she is the only one here so far that is not a turn coat. 

Well I guess this party shows the times we are moving into, a time where turncoats are celebrated instead of held accountable for not being loyal to their city. I feel sorry for those putting trust into them, once a turn coat always a turn coat.

She helps herself to a crumpet.
