I can confirm, with one hundred percent certainty, that they were both killed as suspects in the death of Taraji.

This intrigues me, because the information I was provided with is that Taraji wrote a GF thread and was then executed for requesting compensation for Banzai, who was accused of leaking ShinigamiK's pro time when Dom was avenging his fallen friends - unbeknownst to Taraji. According to my sources, a WS request was sent out, but this was done to cover the events which are suspected to have taken place.

Whilst I am unable to substantiate these claims, it is what I was told at the time, so I am interested to see how this will play out.

After multiple events which were linked together, both Minotaur and Professor were decided to be the most likely suspects and subsequently shot.

This is a bit of a sweeping statement, could you expand?

What multiple events?

How were they linked?

Why were those two in separate districts put together?

I do know that a lot of effort was put into working out who was around at the time of Tarajis shooting, a hitlisting of a member of detroits upper structure, and multiple bodyguard checks on upper structure following these two events.

Those were the events in question. Regarding how they were linked together, both had been repeatedly sighted in the vicinity of the events or were known to be actively engaged in this thing of ours around the time of the events taking place. 

Whilst we can't guarantee with one hundred percent certainty that both of the two, or either of the two were responsible, the decision was made based on the evidence we could aquire. And a risk assessment was made. The solution to the threat, as is usually the case, was to remove the suspected threats.

Alas, it seems we didn't remove enough of them.

It is evident this is not strictly about purging as way too many did not partake in purging. I don't think it matters much now. What has been done is done. And it needs to run its course.
