"Good video; shame about the song." Yeah, well, judging a book by it's cover is a more aged and all round better cliche. But then I gots to thinking. And when I gets to thinking, I gets to writing. And when I gets to writing, I gets your attention and engage your brain. What song or songs can you think of that has a good music video? I'll start. Ultravox - Vienna. A mediocre song is elevated by a majestic video. Shot in black and white, Midge Ure wears a trench-coat and walks around, whilst three other people also walk around. But what makes the video, is Midge Ure's moustache. Like me, Midge Ure is a Celt, and is handsome. But unlike me, Midge Ure can grow a moustache. A serious moustache. He sacrifices his whole face for this thing. As for the song? Well, it means nothing to me." |

i like viva de la vida by Coldplay i think its one of the first songs the rest of the band provided background vocals. their live versions still give me goosebumps when the whole crowd joins in |

I would like to introduce a great music video for an even better song, and the only song I've ever listened to until the end or more than once: Kurtis Blow - Basketball https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_shxzlTRK44&ab_channel=KurtisBlowVEVO A truly iconic cultural moment. Come for the basketball, stay for the kung-fu interlude. A certified funky fresh track & video. |

ahhhh for me there can be only one. 'Weapon of choice' by fat boy slim the video basically features Christopher Walken dancing and it does not get any better than that. |

Pixies - Velouria https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nc0Mv4Iyxvc&ab_channel=4AD They shot this video just to fulfill a requirement for having a music video. It is really dumb but great. |

The only culture thats ever been good to me is skateboarding, especially in regards to music. You also get a mixture of technical floss for left brained wavelengths |

Are music videos still a thing? I remember sitting watching MuchMusic for hours. No longer a thing here anyways. I guess there is YouTube. Anyways, my favourite music video when I was a kid was Wake Me Up Before you Go-Go by Wham! |

Being Usher, I am a huge fan of my own music video, Yeah! One of my overall biggest songs and successes. I remember that day well. Lil Jon was spun off the sauce and drank. Gold chains flying and getting crunk. Luda was high as giraffe nuts and needed to get his hair done. His afro was out of control. I'm surprised we pulled it off. |

Duman-Yürek In my opinion, it’s very dramatic ***Spoiler*** When graveyard first appears, song says “he/she never comes back” |

| Most 80s music vídeos were really cool, funny and some with artistic touca. Some of those were more worth then the music itself | |

The best music video that relay started it was thriller by Micheal Jackson back in 1983 and it was the new way to make music videos. That is what I mean. |

Knock Knock by Brunettes Shoot Blondes. The video is truly majestic, Y'all really gotta see it. Like, idk if it's on real time or not but like the video is this bunny guy chasing a girl across several phones that serve as some sort of background. |
