Since times of old mistakes have been made. Father shot in front of their sons because of a mistake which wasn't even serious. Respect many people have thrown that word around as if it means different things. Such as don’t stand up for your self or don’t insult someone. I have a different view on respect then most. I see respect as earned through hard work dedication. You stand up for self when you didn’t do something wrong you might earn respect unless your just being prideful. We have see much disrespect in the streets lately to may of the leaders. People don’t want talk about issues so they take them into their own hands that is disrespect. If you insult some one with out the intent for them to learn that is disrespect. If you insult someone with the intent to help them grow that is respect. Omerta I have heard this word be tossed around on this street as if it has no meaning any more. I was asked to keep omerta about some one doing something behind their crew leaders back that they knew their crew leader would not approve of. To me omerta means what is said in the crew about the crew plans stays private and that shots aren’t handed down to others. That if a crew leader makes a private decision it is not openly shared upon the streets such as if a member disapproves of the choice. I believe in chances I will not change that opinion unless the chance is something like a shot being fired or a member refuses to try to learn. A good example is premier who has been learning very well lately he had another attempted assault on him and instead of insulting the family that The shooter came from let me handle the situation. As leaders in this community we are teachers but we are also crime bosses. Sometimes we do need to put people down or take them for a swim. Sunrise looks out upon the crowd who has chosen to gather. I hope we can all learn and grow together. Sunrise steps off the soap box and leaves room for anyone who wishes to comment. |

Very well spoken sunrise I learn more and more everyday that lashing out isn’t the answer, that being kind and understanding is powerful. I’d like to thank you again for your teaching picks up his book the human animal and begins to read on a park bench eating his lunch |
