@Jaws guffaws, then goes to his podium.  There is a pause.  Then he begins to speak.  The crowd is in awe.

"Friends, it is no idle boast to state plainly that Detroit is the epicentre of the media world.  Newspapers rise, fall, are taken over, sold, and re-sold.  it is never-ending.

So, I'm not coming out here to give you another newspaper.  My friend @Touch_of_Evil delivered one to you recently.

Nor am I here with any news on the missing @RonaldCrabbia - though we are investigating if he has "Done a Lordian" and pulled a Mastrimoni on our asses.  I had sent Ronald about $30m worth of tips an exclusives.

No, I am here to discuss DETROIT.

I think we are a pioneering city.  

Has there been a city before that insists on mugging?  I don't think so.

Has there been this many athletes concentrated in one city before?  I don't think so.

Has there been a city with so many orators and newspaper owners before?  I don't think so.

We are a success story.

That is not to say that other cities are not successful, for they surely are, but that we started off as a small, laughable collective, and that now that we are a larger, laughable collective.

We are attracting talent.  Only this week, @Syrup_2's son, @Syrup_3 set up home right here in Detroit.  His grandfather, @Honesty- a notorious tough guy, hung around for a long time, until he was killed by one of the now dead, and not missed, Fareham's.

Let me finish this self-congratulatory puff piece with a question:

WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?  WHO SHOULD I INTERVIEW?  WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE REPORTED?
