LA Business thread:

I’ve put together a Business Thread in Los Angeles. To participate, you are required to present me a criminal case in which you are being prosecuted or investigated. I will roleplay back as expected and confirm the hearing and trial day. To further increase the roleplaying interaction, you are also required to present your version of the facts and answer five questions that will be sent via Mobmail, until the hearing day.

On the designated trial day, a public thread will be released in the streets, labeled with your criminal case number, in which all the circumstances will be presented, your hearing testimony, all the evidence, witnesses (five total), hearing information and the final legal discourse, ending with the final verdict.

Recap: You must reach for me in the designated LA Business Thread, present me with a criminal case, with or without further circumstances, and also prove your payment through one single traceable tip (not anonymously). Until the designated hearing day, you are required to present  me your version of the facts, as detailed as possible, and also the answer to the five questions sent in the prior days. Remember, all of this will be used in your benefit during the trial. The case can either be won or lost, it all depends on how complete our plausible version of the facts.

Whatever the situation is, i’ll be playing your attorney and will defend your case accordingly, using the maximum tools i have at my disposal, that includes laws and thesis i will most likely come up with (this is part of the profession, right?).

Charge price: I’ve decided to work with different prices, as following:

• $1.000.000,00 or two golden coins commonly known as credits: Regular case, no outside interference;

• $2.000.000,00 or four golden coins: In this case, you are able to present one of the witnesses (another player), he can either help you or finish your career. In this case, said witness is required to provide me his version of the facts until the trial day;

• $4.000.000,00 or eight golden coins: In this case, you are able to present one of the witnesses (another player) and the district attorney (another player). In this case, the witness is required to provide me his version of the facts until the trial day and the district attorney (who may or may not work on your benefit) is required to provide me with the criminal case (via Mobmail), his sustain, evidences that will be shown before court, his questions (up to five) and final discourse;

• All Mobmail sent by me or received by me must contain the number of the criminal case or at least the name of the person being prosecuted;

• The fee must be paid in the form of the main Thread (Business thread - LA) Tips Tool (Not anonymously for obvious reasons) - This will be explained later on; 

As part of the roleplay, if convicted, you will be ruled as guilty and forever known for said crime in this world of ours, be it assault, be it sexy dolls smuggling.

Finally, to be fair and square, the final verdict will be proclaimed by the jurors based on the following method:

-> Each criminal case has a maximum of 15 (fifteen) points. Regular witnesses (not replaced by a real player) will be randomly given a number from 1 (one) to 2 (two), if it lands on 2 (two), it means they are favorable and +1 point is placed toward the pool. A witness that is a real player will either help or worsen your criminal case, if he chooses to help, a +1 point will also be warded;

-> With each question from the prosecution being answered decently and in a plausible way, a +1 point will be placed toward the pool;

-> Finally, the same logic will be applied to the prosecutor, just as the witnesses (when not a real player). He will be given a random pool from 1 (one) to 5 (five). This number represents his work quality overall. If the district attorney is a real player, then his final discourse will be rated from 1 (one) to 5 (five) by me and based solely on coherence and work put on it. In both cases, their final points will be deducted from your pool.

To be declared not guilty, your final score must be at least 8 (eight).

The catch is: Can you be freed from your crime, whatever it is? Will you dare to trust your friends to come up with something funny or shameful for your honor? Maybe a bet between your friends? Will you dare to compete for the media money with the most relevant criminal case (comp explanation down below)? Only the court can decide!

The Comp:

The competition will be based on the first 10 (TEN) participants.

The competition will run from the third day (So i can answer any questions in prior) after the HEADLINE JOURNAL is posted in the streets, to the next 30 (third) days OR after concluding all the cases (the 10 first inputs).

Like in real life, famous cases are broadcast (via journal in this particular scenario) and it draws media attention. That being said, the criminal case with the biggest relevance in the streets (most comments, reactions and general participation, will be given, as media fee:

• If the total money received as traceable tips on the Business Thread is less than $5.000.000,00: Half of it;

• If the total money received as traceable tips on the Business Thread is higher than $5.000.000,00 and less than $10.000.000,00: one third of it;

• If the total money received as traceable tips on the Business Thread is higher than $10.000.000,00 (to no limit whatsoever): half of it;

• The general public can contribute with the prize pool by using the tip tool (Anonymously or not) on whichever criminal case posted on the streets they like or want to. In this case, all the money gathered through this way (being irrelevant on which criminal case it was tipped) will be split between me (I’m your attorney duh!) And the winner;

This is why it’s important to hire me using traceable tips (not anonymously), so everyone can keep track of what was earned during this 30 (third) days period.
