47 Presents - The Daily Update Started by: Mayor_McCheese on Apr 10, '08 23:55
Hello to all of you beautiful registered voters out there. *waves and blows kisses* After arriving back to our world today, I noticed that only two topics of discussion were talked about today in the streets. So without discussing this with any of our family members, I'm going to go out on a limb, and challenge our family to make a daily update to the streets in this particular thread. If we succeed, then our goal of producing some quality S.H.I.T. will be accomplished, if we fail this will fall to the back pages; either way we'll have fun trying.

For today's tidbit, I'll share the first part of the story of how I managed to make it into the mafia.

Part I - Mayor_McCheese's first job

It all started when I was fresh out of junior college. I had just gotten my associate's degree from Grill and Bar University, and I was given a business card of a local temp agency. I called them up, and they said they had some work for me. I was ever so excited. Once I made it to work that first day, I inquired as to what I would be doing for the near future. The told me that they had a surplus of various signs, that they needed us to sell door to door style. I figure I'm fairly outgoing, and this would be no problem.

After an hour of training, they then started handing out the various signs. The five of us in the class all pick numbers one through five, unfortunately for me I draw number five, meaning I have to sell the signs that no one else wants to. The first chap picked "For Sale by Owner", the second picked "No Smoking", the third picked "Men's and Women's Restroom". At this point I was getting nervous. The fourth guy chose "Authorized Personnel Only", which meant I was stuck with selling a truckload of "No Soliciting" signs. Needless to say, being a door to door "No Soliciting" sign salesman turned out to be a bigger task then what I was up to, so I had to quit after a week.

Stayed tuned later for more episodes of my life including: City-County Councilman McCheese, State Senator McCheese, and Mayor_McCheese's Assassination Attempt.

Well being a whore selling "No Soliciting" signs was always going to be one heck of a task...

Maybe you should try this method. Now remember these days most people are penny pinchers.

Go to the door and greet them and tell them the price of the sign is that of two. Then tell them if they buy one they'll get the second free. Thus selling signs quicker and fooling people into buying what I doubt they need.

My God.

I hope 'Mayor' is only an honourary title.

The last time he had a position of power I couldn't walk for weeks!

Yeah, being a whore is quite a task.... I've heard.

I apologize, as tonights skit is more of a joke as opposed to the next part of my fascinating story. Now I'd like to present a man you needs no introduction. *Points at the unidentified man, which no one recognizes; he obviously needed to be introduced*

*the man begins to speak*

A Mafia godfather finds out that his bookkeeper has cheated him out of ten million bucks.

His bookkeeper is deaf.

That was the reason he got the job in the first place. It was assumed that a deaf bookkeeper would not hear anything that he might have to testify about in court.

When the godfather goes to confront the bookkeeper about his missing $10 million, he brings along his attorney, who knows sign language.

The godfather tells the lawyer, "Ask him where the 10 million bucks he embezzled from me is."

The attorney, using sign language, asks the bookkeeper where the money is.

The bookkeeper signs back, "I don't know what you are talking about."

The attorney tells the godfather, "He says he doesn't know what you're talking about."

The godfather pulls out a pistol, puts it to the bookkeeper's temple, and says, "Ask him again!"

The attorney signs to the bookkeeper, "He'll kill you if you don't tell him!"

The bookkeeper signs back, "OK! You win! The money is in a brown briefcase, buried behind the shed in my cousin Enzo's backyard in Queens!"

The godfather asks the attorney, "Well, what'd he say?"

The attorney replies, "He says you don't have the guts to pull the trigger."
