Frank stepped into the streets from his home and took a deep breath before exhaling. It was a cold, windy August day he thought to himself. Cold had become more than an adjective to describe temperature to him. Cold was how he felt inside. His thoughts, his emotions. Cold. Walking toward the center streets where so many gathered and journeyed through during their days. Frank pulled his trench coat tight as he came closer to the crowds of fellow Mafioso’s gathered around. “Even more cold here.” He thought as he pushed through the shoulder to shoulder traffic. The faces seemed grey, their voices rang and echoed to where he couldn’t make out words or pick up on conversations. “Something must be wrong with me.” He internalized as he squinted his brown eyes and pushed forward. As Frank reached a clutter of nearby fruit boxes he began gathering them. Stacking them one on top of another so that he could climb high and stand above the crowd. Balancing himself as he stood tall above the masses, he cleared his throat and attempted to get the crowds attention. “Excuse me, EXCUSE ME!” Franks voice came barreling from his chest in such a way he almost lost his balance. “It is with great dismay, disheartenment and from a broken soul that I come here today and make this announcement. For starters, Better Bestfriend Bois LLC has disbanded. BBB and I have now gone our separate ways as he has chosen my previous love interest and wife to be TheMorrigan over our friendship and business dealings.” Frank paused to fight back tears that filled his eyes. “So, with that being said. I would like to announce that all previous business interests held by Better Bestfriend Bois LLC are now with my new company, Even Better Bestfriend Bois LLC. The new company will be spearheaded by myself and new Co-Founders, Geralt, Sosabowski and Hobbs. The latter whom we’ve forgiven for his horse burning antics in light of the recent tragedies which befell the city of Las Vegas in losing Godfather Giorgio-Esposito.” Frank pauses once more to collect his thoughts and catch his balance on the boxes shaking beneath him. “On another note. The heartbreak and dramatic nature in which my previous best friendship has ended. As well as having lost the love of my life all within a week of each other. It has made me quite jaded and disgruntled. Many of you know me as the Laugher Don. A name I just coined for myself now. I am a great friend to have but typically cheerful, spreading humor and sarcasm all around our fair avenues. I no longer feel I can be this man. I can no longer live up to those expectations. For some of you that will be good news, to others you may feel a piece of the sadness I carry with me now. To move this along, I say all of this to say the following. I will be taking a step back. Not from being acting Godfather of the Bronx because that is a role I cherish deeply. But from public appearances. I will continue to assist as I can in the on-going invasion of ne’er-do-wells. I even intend to upkeep my stakes in our newest company with my best friends and business partners. However, less of me shall be seen. I am going into seclusion. Until I can shake the cold darkness which surrounds my mind and my heart.” Frank steps down from the boxes and kicks them over. Trying to collect himself as his breathing borders hyper-ventilating. “I apologize for that moment of anger you had to see. In closing, thank you for your time and I pray to the saints for my deliverance.” Frank turns and removes a small bottle of liquor from his pocket and takes a quick drink, hoping no one can see. Turning back to the crowd he nods at those gathered as he clings his jacket tight to him again and pushes through the crowd. |
