INNOVATION

Innovation has been key to the success of DT.  The first mandatory mug city, the first city to encourage inter, and intra, crew bodyguard execution, and an absolute-tolerance approach to inter, and intra, crew abuse: DT have truly offered a new way to do business.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Few others cities in existence have had as laizzez-faire attitude to rogues as DT, and it has served them fairly well.  BBB's third in command is as obvious a potential rogue as has ever existed, and, because of the relaxed attitude to such things in DT, has not acted out in a lethal manner.  DeathBecomesMe, surely, has learned from the non-lethal death threats that have become another innovative characteristic of life in Motor City.  So relaxed about rogues are DT, that the third-in-command of a large DT crew wrote a eulogy to a rogue, a rogue who killed one of the most prominent and powerful organised crime figures in our current society.

CHICAGO

Let us not forget the impact DT has had on Chicago.  Acting-Godfather-Chairman-Illuminiated was furious with DT for the loss of 30 or so of his men, felled to the gun of someone who had allegedly infiltrated DT.  DT acted, and barred this fellow, which prevented Acting-Godfather-Chairman-Illuminiated from levelling DT.  Acting-Godfather-Chairman-Illuminiated's plans were thrwarted by the quick-thinking, corrective, and innovative moves of a city that's always tearing up the rulebook.  Acting-Godfather-Chairman-Illuminiated would do well to model himself and his city on DT.  When he achieves the coveted position of Godfather-Chairman, Acting-Godfather-Chairman-Illuminiated would have a longevity far greater than he could currently expect.  This is even more the case now that his close friend and associate MidPoinT killed numerous rich and powerful mobsters.  Acting-Godfather-Chairman-Illuminiated should learn from DT: don't let your obvious soon-to-rogue rogues actually rogue.  It will make things easier.

THE PROPOSAL

A malaise has started to creep into various crews and cities.  Some leaders, like the late, great FrizzleFry, fizzled out in a blaze of glory, and sought retirement.  Others have gone to get married.  

But in Detroit, the hardest working mobster in this society, BBB, is leading the way.  Probably the second most effectual leader in DT today, his long hours on the job can only partially be explained away by keeping an eye on his blatant soon-to-rogue third in command.  No, the truth is, BBB is an exemplar, a template, of what this thing could be.

So, I propose that all DT CL's retire, and join BBB: One Leader, One City, One obvious soon-to-be rogue.

There's only one way of life, and that's BBB's own, his own, it's his own.  There's only one way of life.
