A hurricane is hitting our datacenter which has now lost power and running on generator. The datacenter assures us that they can make it through the storm with their backup generators - the only issue may come as a result of their providers having issues.

Soooo what does this mean to all of us? We may experience some general slowness depending on the path you take to the server, but otherwise we are in good shape and hope to be able to stay up through the hurricane with minimal downtime.

If the site fails to load for you, try back in a little bit, everything should self-heal.

Try living in Louisiana and getting hit by a hurricane every couple years or so. We have sometimes gone a week without power.
