13 September 1950's

The Loop, Chicago

- 《The Daily Journal available for sale. Freshly printed !  One Dollar only ! !》 Yaled a Kid while people were walking ahead near of rapid transit-lines connecting downtown and the neignbor.

Morgan was taking a seat watching the crowd moving along. He still remember that day when he arrived in this town. He tooked a wooden pen and a notebook -a sort of journal- and started putting words

Well, hum .. I've got a lot to say. Chicago, state of Illinois, September 13th,

Time flew but I still remember my father's tellings about the civil war in 1859, the sound that made that damned train down Amtrak's Rail Road Station or even the first time I've ever seen Chicago River, the main stream of the city. My father was a simple and honest worker in a ranch outside town, near of Fort Dearborn. He was used to walk at least an eighty miles on foot to get to destination. He has to manifest himself at labor by taking care of horses, selling them on the market at sun dusk. A life of a slave for counted pennies, without recognizion

*Thinking*

 .. No ... he'd love of his family. I believe ...

A well-dressed man approached Morgan without saying a word, tooked a seat and gived him a paper. He moved around and whispers

- 《See you at the Whiskey Bar, little guy》. He laughed and went singing.

Stories about father will have to wait ...

15 September 1950's

Bella Vista, Philadelphia

- 《... You gotta be kidding me, Sir ! ...》 said a -typical looking- tourist, shaking his hands, barely able to reach that hat above his head.

- 《... Not even on your most exciting dream ...》replied a guide surrounded by the crowd. Smile on his face.

- 《 I ... I ... I will MARRY in Philly !》 proclaimed highly a young lady.

- 《Can you sh*t you mouth, Mercilla ?! Your father have serious doubts to keep you at home. 》 quietly said an old women.

- 《*Hm* ! At your right, ladies and gentlemens, we're proud to make you witness of our historical landmark, the City Hall ! Imagine ... folks ... THIRTY ! - dramaticly insisting - yeaars of construction. 1871 ! Remember this date, noble friends. Nooow ! At your left. And may God agrees my deeds. THIIS ... is ... THE St-John Church !》 The suddenly inspired man bended the knee. Then, made a quick gesture with his hand, in silence, leaving visitors whispering or yalling some *Oh my Lord !* or *Sweet Marry, Mother of God !* on the way.

《... Follow me ... !》 after clearing his voice, he stood up with visible pain, maybe cracking a kneecap.

*doing this everyday ? tought Marston.*God bless him, I suppose. huh*

Marston putted his ♧Lucky CowHat♧ used by time and dust.

*Well, visiting this city aint a bad idea*

Walking down avenues, Marston discovered the Mill Place. He pulled a chair, ordered a cup of coffee. The smell of gases getting out from pipes on roofs and people's bargaining  gived life to Philadelphia. What a beautiful view.

《Here your coffee, Sir. It's 65 cent...s》 - the young waiter's eyes fixed a twenty dollars bill and a note marked on it *keep the rest and leave*

Morgan was already writting on his journal. Trying to keep much more space as he could between lines. *damn fool, worst than my ill brother Filton*

Poor ... damned ... Filton !

15th of September, and I forgive you for what you've done.

Still, that anger ... that pain of losing her ... could had me killed you.

At that moment, I had faith that fools falls from trees, like

that ... Farham ... John by his name...

... or something like that... Philadelphia, from an unknown langage :

《fraternal friendship》.  Farham made it another meaning. I dont

know what was his claim doing that. However, that was a rogue act.

Hopefuly, I would have been dead if bosses wants so. They arent

fools. That's why they're on these spots. *write something unclear on

the border page*

Filton ! Damn fool. Why have you killed

Mother !? We were supposed to PROTECT them !

Protecting them ... I hope ... Father. I'am Sorry.

- 《Mr. Morgan ! You've made it through the city. This town can swallow Yorkshire itself.》 touching the chicago mobster on his shoulder.

- 《I've been across this country since a long time.》 replied Marston, holding him a letter.

-《My salutation to Don Roco of Chicago. Now, will you follow me ? We've got a drug dealing on line.》 said the local friendly wise guy.
